"And you're sure about this?"
"Why wouldn't I be? I told you two about them a long time ago and they kept saying that they want to meet you two."
"But you're sure you want your parents to tell your craziest and embarrassing stories to your clones?", I asked with a smirk as I flew beside Clark, Match nodding in agreement as he chuckled.
"It matters little to me what you two hear. Besides, you're like my cousins or little brothers? Which one did we agree on?"
"Little brothers."
"Right. You're in some way my little brothers so I should still introduce you to them."
"Okay. Well, what do I, or should I say we, need to know before we meet them?"
"Ma's a big sweetheart and will definitely try to make you guys a big peach cobbler or her cinnamon-roll-and-chili. Pa on the other hand is a bit of a hard case."
"Flash level of hard-case or Batman-level?"
"Uh, Hal, I would say, but don't let that fool you. He'll size you up like a prize bull at the county fair, but once he decides you're his son, that's it. You'll never find anyone more willing to stand by your side."
"So, we should expect a lecture on keeping her nose clean, then?", Match asked and I chuckled as Clark gave a combination of a half-smirk and a half-sigh.
"Hah, yes. Several, if he's being nice. I even got one last week because I was supposed to bring you two, but we had that whole clean-up to do."
"Ah, got it. So, in other words, if I word my sentences correctly, I could now be considered the favourite instead of you."
"Really? That's the first thing your mind went to?"
"Hey, I have to do my duty as the youngest child and make your life absolutely miserable for you."
"Now, I remember why I did not like having to hang out with my older cousins."
"We have cousins?"
"Well, human ones, yeah," He answered with a shrug, but I hid my frown as we went silent and began flying lower once I caught sight of a small farm with a double story house, a barn and a grain silo.
If he says human ones, then that means Supergirl is not here yet, which is a bit of a bummer. Then again, I didn't see her in the two seasons of Young Justice that I watched, but at the same time, this universe has shown me that it doesn't follow the canon either.
'If that's the case, she most definitely is in this universe, but probably still stuck in stasis or whatever happened for her to be away,' I thought as we touched down, a smile instinctively appearing on my face as I caught the scent of tilled soil and fresh hay.
Turning my head, I watched as Clark let out a soft sigh, but before we could move to the porch, the screen door creaked open and out came a woman that appeared to be in her mid to late 50's.
Her grey hair was cut short and she had an apron on, but as she saw us walking up, her brown eyes lit up as Clark floated over and hugged her softly.
"Clark! Oh, it's good to see you!"
"I missed you too, Ma," He spoke softly and Martha Kent's gaze shifted past him before I blinked at the motherly smile and the warm look in her eyes.
"And you two must be the boys."
"Boys?", Match asked in surprise, which I mirrored as the woman gave a firm nod while Clark chuckled at her words.
"That's right. Any one that has Clark's DNA, whether they want to or not, are sons of mine. Now, don't just stand there in the cold like a pair of scarecrows. Come in before breakfast gets cold."
"Will do, ma'am," Clark spoke with a smile as he followed her in, Match and I looking to each other before he blinked as I shrugged.
Might as well.
As we entered inside, I turned and was immediately greeted with a stoic stare, the man neither smiling nor frowning as his sharp gaze pinned both Match and I at the entrance.
"You boys strong?", Jonathan Kent asked with a calm tone, Match and I glancing at each other before I smiled and nodded.
"Stronger than most, yes."
"And smart?"
"Depends on who you ask," Match spoke in response and there was a moment of silence before the corners of his mouth twitched when Martha walked over and swatted his arm.
"Jonathan Kent, you'll scare them off before they even sit down."
"They haven't looked away so they ain't as soft as you think," Jonathan spoke and I watched as Martha just shook her head, the three of us sitting down while she walked to the kitchen.
The smell of fresh biscuits hit me like a train as Ma Kent placed them down at the table, my gaze flickering between the older woman who moved from kitchen to table with more and more food and Pa Kent who continued to study Match and I with a stern gaze.
"Strong and smart, you said? That's good, but it ain't no good bein' strong if you don't got the heart for it. What do you boys stand for?"
"Told ya Pa'd test you first thing," Clark spoke with a grin, Martha looking amused at his words while Pa Kent had a stern yet soft look in his eyes before I turned to Match.
"Mostly just standing next to Clark and making sure no one gets the bright idea of attacking from behind?", Match said/ asked, but I kept my eye on Pa Kent as he just gave a slow nod as if processing his response.
"I see. And you?"
"Honestly, anything I say other than 'I'm not sure' is a lie so I guess for now, just staying alive and figuring out why I'm a hero."
"You need a reason?"
"Unfortunately, my brain has been hotwired to find a meaning and a purpose for everything by our enemies. At the same time, though, I've found that doing the selfless thing and just being a hero for the sake of being a hero is fun. Exhausting, but fun."
"Hmm, that's honest. Most boys your age don't think like that. You've got guts and I understand that boys your age would rather go around flaunting their powers instead of helping others, but as you know, that ain't what a hero is about.
Being a hero means standing by others when it's hard and no one's watching, even if everyone else goes the easy way and walk away. So, I'm going to tell you the same thing that I told Clark when he first started out.
Do not do what is expected of you, but do what is right. That's what'll define you and that will be how the world sees you for they don't care about how fast you fly or how strong you are. The only thing they care for is about what you portray to the world."
"And with that, the impromptu motivation speech is done. Now, you boys get to eat before Jon drag you all out to the field for some chores."
"Oh, don't worry. I'll make sure not to push them too hard," He spoke with a grin as we held hands, a smile on Match and I's faces while Clark sighed.
"Pa, we came here to just hang out. You and Ma keep complaining that I don't come along as much anymore."
"You don't and we'll 'hang out' as you city people say, but first, we're going to get those Kansas muscle memory of yours awake and instill some farming skills into these boys."
"I would not mind that, sir," I answered, Clark chuckling as Match nodded in agreement before Martha cleared her throat with a smile.
"Now, can we pray?", She asked, a smile on my face as Jon chuckled and nodded.
"Of course, dear. Our Father..."

"Chris, a bit too fast. Go too fast and you may hurt the soil," Clark spoke up as he pulled a wide rake through the earth with practised ease, his sleeves rolled up and wearing a denim overall.
In response, I slowed my pace, glancing at Clark and copying his movements before a chuckle escaped my lips as I saw Match trying his best to rake and not carve a small trench into the ground.
"Easy, son. Move with your legs and wrists, not just your arms. Think of a farm like a person. You can't just muscle through them so sometimes, you gotta work with 'em instead of against 'em," Pa Kent spoke up from the side, leaning against the fence post with his sharp eyes watching us all.
Match nodded as he began to move slower, a smile on my face as the three of us moved in sync and began to finish the part of the farm that we were busy with.
"What Pa is trying to explain is that the three of us are strong, but our strength without control will cause far more devastation than good. Therefore, we must first learn that if we can't hold back when we need to, we're just as dangerous as the people we fight."
"A lot more fancy words, but still good. Not too much, not too little, but just enough," Pa Kent spoke up from the side, to which I nodded as I finished with the other two.
"Not bad. If you kids learn patience and get a taste of how Clark here grew up, I think y'all will definitely become far better heroes than anything that fancy training'll teach ya."
"Huh, I didn't think this would be the secret training that you used."
"Hey, don't knock it before you try it. It teaches discipline and respect. If you put the same care into the ground as you do into protecting people, then you're not just strong but good as well."
"And bein' good, boys, is the real work," Jon spoke with a smile as he clapped me on the shoulder, his grip heavy as I nodded before frowning as my communicator turned on.
"Batman to Paragon and Superman. Do you read?"
"This is Paragon, Batman. What's wrong?"
"We have received reports of the Team being attacked by what appeared to be another Amazo and two other Robots similar to Red Tornado and Red Inferno."
'Right, Red Tornado is kidnapped by his siblings, but Red Inferno was part of the group that I remember from canon. On top of that, another Amazo?'
"What do we need to do?"
"Coordinates have been sent to your devices. Titan, you are to rendezvous with the Team to rescue Red Tornado from the other Red Androids along with Captain Marvel acting as your support. Superman, Paragon, you two are to head to Central City as Amazo II is busy rampaging there along with another unknown assailant."
"Got it. See you in a few," I answered, disconnecting the call and turning to Pa Kent who nodded with a smirk.
"Go, I'll tell Ma it's a work emergency."
"Thanks, Pa, and tell Ma to keep the pie warm 'cause we'll try and make it for supper."
"Good. If you didn't, she'd come and spank your behinds purple," he spoke with a smile before the three of us shot up into the air, all three of us immediately pressing the logos of our Superman shirts.
As we did, my clothes shifted into the signature black shirt with the red Super logo, a black leather jacket becoming visible as I took out my sunglasses and placed them on my face with a smirk.
"Alright, Titan. Good luck."
"You too," He answered before he shot off, flying towards his direction while Supes and I dove down towards the hidden Boom Tube placed a fair bit away from the farm.
"Boom Tube! Activate Emergency Protocol! Code: Super-Family!"
"Code: Super-Family, acknowledged," The system spoke as it activated, Supes pressing in the coordinates before we dove through and out the other side.
Supes and I shot out of the warehouse and into the skies, Central City visible in the distance before I noticed the figures fighting in the sky.
"Go high! I'll go low!", I shouted as I watched the Amazo grabbing Wonder Woman and throwing her into Hawkwoman before Supes nodded.
"Got it!", He nodded as he sped up, my gaze focusing on him before I dove down and moved through the city. Narrowing my eyes as I saw Supes landing a big punch to Amazo's jaw, I shot up from the crowded streets and towards the robot.
It only looked down for a brief moment before my fist crashed into its jaw and sent it flying further up into the sky, but a gasp escaped my lips as a pair of heavy boots slammed into my back and sent me barreling towards the ground.
Flipping over halfway to the ground, I grimaced at the muscular black-eyed figure with pointy ears floating down, his black hair slicked back and dressed in a skintight black uniform with yellow boots and a golden lightning bolt insignia on his chest.
Black Adam just smirked as I recovered, floating with his arms crossed while I spat out to the side as Wonder Woman floated at my side.
"Supes?"
"Busy facing off against the other Amazo with Hawkman, Hawkwoman and the Green Lanterns. Therefore, I came to help you with this."
"I do not mind the help."
"You will need it, boy. There are a few people that asked me to make sure that you do not see the end of day," Black Adam spoke as he uncrossed his arms, lightning crackling along his form as I chuckled and lifted my sunglasses.
"The light really can't just let me have a day off, can they?", I spoke with a smirk before I blew out a chilling wind, the cold freezing him solid before he shattered it in the same moment.
With that, Wonder Woman lunged in while coiling her whip around his wrist, pulling him in and ducking under his other swing as her knee smashed into his chest.
Wrapping her whip around his neck, I lunged in and landed a harsh punch against his jaw, Wonder Woman unrolling her whip as the blow sent him flipping through the air.
To his credit, the man easily stopped his movement and stayed afloat, raising a hand to his jaw before rubbing it with a nod and a grin.
"You're not weak. Good, that means that killing you will be a worthy victory," The godlike figure spoke with a grin before he shot forward, my eyes widening as I crossed my arms and barely blocked the heavy punch that slammed into them.
Gritting my teeth as pain flared through my arms, I grabbed onto his arm and pulled him in, landing a headbutt right as Wonder Woman flew overhead and landed a vicious knee to his skull.
The blow staggered him backwards before she continued, ducking under his swing and throwing him overhead.
Flying after him, I blew out a torrent of cold wind that froze him solid before Wonder Woman's whip smashed through, crashing into his chest and smacking him further up into the air.
Yet, all that did was make him laugh as he flipped over and lunged back in, gritting my teeth when I swung a punch only for him to duck under it.
Wrapping his arms around my neck, I clenched my neck muscles as he strained as hard as he could, Wonder Woman quickly forcing him to let go with a powerful stomp to his back.
Flipping out of his grip, I stomped onto his back and floated back up, watching as he stopped himself and turned to stare at me with a smirk.
"Not bad, not bad at all."
"You talk a lot about not bad, but all I see is you getting your ass beat," I spoke with a raised eyebrow, Wonder Woman twirling her whip as Black Adam narrowed his eyes before nodding.
"Very well. Allow me to take you serious."
