In a short time, Selina arrived at the east mansion as she entered Stella's room.
Lifting her leg to step inside something within her stung with uneasiness as she halted in her tracks. Her fingers instinctively clutched the hem of her dress.
"I've already picked out the clothes for laundry. Just take them away," Stella said, pointing at the small basket that contained clothes kept on the corner.
Stella narrowed her brows when she sensed Selina's quietness. "Why are you standing there? Are you expecting me to bring the clothes to you? Don't you know how to do your tasks properly?"
Recalling Butler Jude's words about not provoking anyone, she crossed the threshold and made her way to the basket.
Selina bent down and was about to pick it up, but spotted a gold necklace sparkling on the clothes. She jerked up sharply, turning to face Stella who was already dressed in a bathrobe to freshen up.
Selina stretched it out towards her. "Ma'am, I think your necklace has fallen here,"
