As Selina tried to adjust, her hands slipped down to his back. And then, she touched it. She felt it.

Zane's desiring movement froze instantly as his muscles tensed at her touch. He flinched like she'd hit a nerve that wasn't just skin deep.
She looked up at him, stunned with curiosity flashing across her wide-open eyes.
Once again the air shifted, causing Selina to gulp nervously at his conflicted expression.
He released her. "Leave,"
Selina didn't hesitate, knowing the more she wanted to know would only upset him. She jerked up from the water and came out of the tub, grabbing her clothes from the floor.
She walked out of the dimly lit bathroom.
Zane, who was inside, couldn't control his emotions and slammed his hands against the water's surface, which caused a splash everywhere.
"Damn it!" He growled, running a hand through his wet hair frustratingly for the second time today.
