He himself swiftly charged towards Tsezguerra. Having realized the shifting cards were a feint, Tsezguerra turned to defend against Hisoka's attack.
Dodging Hisoka's successive blows, Tsezguerra quickly created distance, preparing to escape using his Collector's Book. The plan had failed; escape was his only option.
He placed his pre-prepared Travel card in an easily accessible position.
As Tsezguerra reached for the card, he found his hand immobile, as if held by a powerful force.
'Ken!!' Using Ken, he discovered Hisoka's Nen clinging to his arm.
A chill ran down his spine. 'Damn it!'
With a sudden jerk, Hisoka retracted his Nen, pulling Tsezguerra closer.
"Trying to escape? Even with the spell card, you won't get away, Mr. Tsezguerra."
Dragged across the ground, Tsezguerra was swiftly captured by Hisoka, whose Nen bound his hands.
Hisoka used Bungee Gum to restrain him completely, then kicked him towards Loki.
"Done!" Hisoka clapped his hands.
Loki, sitting on the rock, his left hand resting on his bent right knee, slowly turned his gaze downward, observing the terrified Tsezguerra.
Loki spoke, "Pakunoda, Goreinu, is anything unusual?"
Hisoka's cards were already at Goreinu's neck; a slight movement, and blood would spill.
Pakunoda withdrew her arm, smiling at Loki. "Explaining is too troublesome. See for yourself!"
She raised her gun. Bang!!! A Nen projectile struck Loki squarely in the forehead.
"What is that woman doing?" Tsezguerra and Goreinu stared dumbfounded at Pakunoda.
Before their astonishment subsided, Loki's voice echoed, "I see."
Through the memories Pakunoda had implanted, Loki understood everything.
Razor had suspected Loki, and after learning from Gon what Bisky had discovered, the Association had tasked them with monitoring Loki, making Goreinu the ideal candidate.
The bribe was simple: money and fame.
This wasn't surprising; Goreinu was hired by Loki.
Fear of Loki's power, combined with the lure of money, had initially prevented Goreinu from betraying Loki, but the offer of fame and fortune had shaken his already weak loyalty.
"Goreinu, I hired you, yet you disobeyed orders and went where you shouldn't have. I spared your life. Then you betrayed me. You shouldn't have done that."
Loki shook his head slightly, his expression impassive as he looked at Goreinu, who was drenched in sweat, his eyes wide, staring at the slender figure on the rock.
Suddenly, Loki raised his arm. A fiery red shadow appeared behind him.
Sizzle! A red flash, a gigantic arm with strange, mysterious, and terrifying markings, materialized before them.
Its long fingers gently grasped Goreinu.
Hisoka was thrown back by a surge of Nen, tumbling through the air before landing steadily on the ground.
He looked up at the gigantic arm that had suddenly appeared behind Loki, its strange form unlike anything human.
Goreinu screamed in terror as a starlight-infused flame erupted—different from Loki's flames. Though both were red, this flame seemed to shimmer with faint starlight. Goreinu was consumed by the light, his Nen escaping his body.
The shadow behind Loki opened its mouth, devouring the escaping Nen. Within seconds, Goreinu vanished completely, leaving no trace.
Hisoka and Pakunoda felt a chill run down their spines.
This terrifying flame, capable of reducing a person to nothingness, was far beyond ordinary fire.
Tsezguerra, witnessing a living person vanish before his eyes, forgot all about resistance, staring blankly at the spot where Goreinu had been.
The crimson arm slowly retracted; the shadow dissipated. Loki closed his eyes, nodding. "Not bad.
Far more powerful than those trash."
He flicked his fingers. "Pakunoda, his memories."
Beside the flickering bonfire, Tsezguerra's corpse lay near Loki.
Loki moved away from the body.
"What now? We need to escape," Pakunoda said.
After accessing Tsezguerra's memories, the three knew that Loki's location had been compromised.
The Hunter Association, having lifted its self-imposed restrictions, would attack Loki, and no one knew what they would do.
While the use of nuclear weapons was unlikely, the mere possibility was terrifying.
Even Hisoka felt a cold sweat forming on his brow.
Facing the unleashed Hunter Association was no joke.
The danger of their exposed location was clear.
Loki knew this, but he couldn't leave yet.
Because... Ding! 'Mission triggered!' 'Defeat the Extermination Squad.' 'Reward: one S-rank gacha pull.'
A single extermination squad, and the reward was an S-rank gacha pull.
In the past, such a mission wouldn't have been a high priority. An S-rank reward was already a high-level reward.
Loki stood up, turning to Hisoka and Pakunoda. "No. I want to face the Hunter Association's extermination squad."
Hisoka grinned excitedly, while Pakunoda looked at Loki with a questioning expression.
After a long moment, she sighed, smiling wryly. "In a way, you're quite similar to Chrollo."
Loki didn't appreciate the comparison.
Hisoka stood up. "Then let's go! I want to see what kind of Nen users the Hunter Association sent."
"They should have some interesting toys!"
"Ging Freecss. Do you know him?" Loki asked.
Hisoka frowned. "No. Is he famous?" Neither Hisoka nor Pakunoda paid much attention to the Association's members.
Loki smiled. "Your toy, Gon, his father is Ging Freecss. He developed this game, Greed Island."
Hisoka's interest piqued. "I see. He must be incredibly strong!"
