"His disciple, Kite, is the captain of this extermination squad." Hisoka's eyes widened slightly. Loki looked up. "Let's go. We'll go there!
"His disciple, Kite, is the captain of this extermination squad."
Hisoka's eyes widened slightly.
Loki looked up. "Let's go. We'll go there!"
Seeing Loki and Hisoka's eagerness, Pakunoda knew further argument was futile. As she prepared to summon her Collector's Book and use a spell card, Loki stopped her.
"No need for a spell card."
"Let's just fly there."
Pakunoda and Hisoka exchanged glances. "We can't fly."
"Don't worry about that," Loki said. "It's time for it to get some fresh air."
They didn't understand what 'it' referred to. Loki smiled faintly.
"Come out and say hello, Fire Spirit."
Boom! Buzzzzzz! A terrifying aura erupted, a boundless energy surging from Loki, spreading in all directions. Red Nen coalesced into a tangible form. A gigantic body rose from the ground, its black shadow engulfing them. Hisoka and Pakunoda's faces turned pale. They slowly tilted their heads upwards.
"Ms. Bisky, do you think Tsezguerra will be alright?" Kite, preparing at Greed Island's starting point, voiced his concern.
"Even if there's danger, there's nothing we can do. We probably won't need the things we prepared."
"This was the only way to get him here."
"The plan might have unforeseen problems, but it's the most effective method available."
While having Tsezguerra approach might seem sudden and suspicious, what other options were there?
The Hunter Association's analysis concluded that a proactive approach wouldn't guarantee avoiding detection by Loki, rendering their prepared countermeasures useless.
The only option was to lure Loki to their location. Tsezguerra was the only suitable candidate. As long as he didn't reveal too much, the probability of him approaching Loki and using the 'Migration' card was still relatively high.
However, the Association hadn't anticipated Tsezguerra's inability to remain calm. Loki's presence was too overwhelming.
If he hadn't witnessed Loki's power against Razor, Tsezguerra wouldn't have been so nervous. But after seeing that fight, he couldn't possibly maintain composure.
After Bisky finished speaking, Kite fell silent. He had to admit it was a necessary evil, yet something felt wrong.
Tsezguerra was a capable Hunter, but entrusting such a mission to him seemed risky. Kite was deeply worried.
However, it was too late. Knuckle took off his shirt, standing behind Kite. "Kite, don't worry too much. The stronger the enemy, the easier it is for them to underestimate their opponent."
Shoot agreed. Strong individuals, overly confident in their abilities, often let their guard down, making them easier to approach.
Comforted by the two, Kite remained restless. It wasn't fear or apprehension; he simply believed Tsezguerra's chances of success were too low.
Suddenly, a deafening roar pierced the air. Everyone's expressions turned serious; their relaxed state vanished instantly. They were on high alert, scanning their surroundings.
Gon suddenly looked up. "Above!"
Hearing this, everyone looked to the sky. A red light was rapidly descending, growing larger in their eyes. The whistling sound of its speed intensified.
Knuckle clenched his fist. "Kite, is this the ability of the spell cards on this island?"
Kite, his gaze fixed on the descending red light, shook his head. "No! This isn't the ability of this game's spell cards."
Kite's urgent words heightened the tension. If not a spell card ability, what was this red light?
Boom boom boom! The roar intensified, growing louder. The red light expanded.
Boom boom! Flames! Writhing flames, buffeted by the wind.
Everyone's expressions hardened as they watched the descending fire.
"What's happening? Why is there fire falling from the sky?"
Amidst Kite and Knuckle's anxious words, a gigantic fireball crashed before them.
Boom! Sizzle! The exploding flames spread wildly. The green grass was engulfed in an instant.
The flames, hurtling towards Kite and the others, were met by Kite's fist, shattering a large rock to create a shield.
Everyone hid behind the rock, dodging the fiery blast. The heat wave intensified the surrounding temperature.
Crack! Kite pushed against the rock, noticing a crack forming. His eyes narrowed. "No good! The rock won't hold."
"Dodge!"
Boom! A tremendous explosion. The massive rock shattered into fragments, propelled outwards by the force of the flames, which swept across a wide expanse of grassland.
The fiery assault subsided. Nearly a hundred meters of grassland was engulfed in flames, the vibrant green grass consumed by fire, transforming the plain into a sea of fire.
Thud thud thud! Several landing sounds echoed. Kite and the others had created a safe foothold amidst the inferno.
Once they were steady, they looked up, towards the dancing flames, where a dark figure slowly approached, taking steady, measured steps.
