Strength gradually returned to Loki's body; strong, steady breaths filled the room.

All eyes were fixed on him.

The treatment wasn't simple surgery; the Hunter Association's medical team consisted of five Nen users with healing abilities and advanced medical skills.

Loki's condition visibly improved, his aura growing stronger.

Soon, the medical personnel stepped back.

Cheadle asked, "Is he alright?"

"Yes, it's finished," one replied.

Seeing Loki still motionless, Cheadle inquired, "Why isn't he moving?"

The medical personnel sighed. "Despite his remarkable vitality, he's not a machine. He needs time to recover."

As if on cue, Boom!!! A powerful burst of Nen erupted from Loki, sending the instruments surrounding his bed flying against the walls of the Four-Dimensional Apartment, shattering them.

Ging stepped forward, shielding the others from the Nen blast.

Such power upon awakening! An eerie red glow suddenly erupted from Loki, intensely bright.

Morel felt a familiar unease; Loki's aura was the same as before—filled with boundless killing intent and rage.

Was he still in a berserk state? "Knov! Be ready. If he's still berserk, we leave immediately."

Morel's warning alerted the Zodiacs.

They sensed the intense killing intent and rage emanating from Loki.

This astonishing killing intent pressured everyone present.

Though there was no wind in the Four-Dimensional Apartment, the air currents moved with incredible speed, making it difficult to open their eyes.

As Loki's aura intensified, Ging grew increasingly surprised, a wry smile playing on his lips.

'Old man, you really unleashed a monster!' Netero hadn't been joking; he'd truly released a monster.

Clang! The red glow vanished. The turbulent air calmed. Loki, on the bed, twitched a finger.

The moment Loki moved, tension gripped the room.

Cheadle looked at the Manipulation-type Nen users she'd summoned.

"No problems?"

Though surprised by Loki's aura, they were confident in their ability to control him, even someone so powerful. They nodded confidently.

This reassured some, but Ging doubted they could control Loki. The difference in power was insurmountable; no ability was absolute.

Even if controlled, a sufficiently powerful individual could break free.

At that moment, Loki opened his eyes, his gaze unfamiliar, taking in his surroundings.

The pain shooting through his body caused him to frown.

His face was pale, his expression weary as he surveyed his surroundings.

He noticed the Zodiacs.

He paused, then began to move.

"Don't move," Cheadle warned.

Loki's voice, raspy, replied, "I just want to sit up."

He sat up with difficulty, leaning against the headboard, wincing at the pain in his scarred body.

"The Chairman's final attack was powerful," Loki murmured, a faint smile on his face.

Despite his weakened state, Loki's aura remained strong, showing no sign of weakening.

Maintaining optimal Nen control with such severe injuries demonstrated terrifying mental fortitude—a level perhaps only Netero had achieved before.

Now, there was another: Loki.

Even motionless, Loki commanded attention.

An injured monster was still a monster.

Cheadle stared at Loki's aura.

'With such severe injuries, an ordinary person would be dead a hundred times over. Yet, this brat persevered. His aura is already at its peak upon regaining consciousness.'

Even Cheadle, who harbored some resentment towards Loki, had to admire his mental strength.

"Why didn't you kill me?" Loki suddenly asked.

Cheadle's eyes narrowed; his voice felt like a predatory gaze.

The others' expressions also shifted.

Ging stood beside Cheadle, providing a sense of security.

"The Chairman didn't want us to kill you."

"Only because of the Chairman?" Loki asked, looking directly at Cheadle.

Cheadle, inexplicably compelled, answered.

The other Zodiac members stared at her in surprise.

Loki smiled. "Tell me. Why save me?"

Cheadle gritted her teeth, forcing herself to remain calm.

"We need you against the Chimera Ants. You were investigating them before; the Chairman interrupted you."

Loki simply looked at her.

"The Chairman was killed by a Chimera Ant. You went berserk afterward, but failed to kill it. Eliminate the Chimera Ants, and the Hunter Association will drop all charges against you."

Dropping all charges—something even Netero couldn't do.

Were the Zodiacs making such a promise?

Loki's eyes flickered. It wasn't impossible.

Resolving the Chimera Ant issue might allow the Association to drop the charges.

But Loki didn't care about charges.

Cheadle's offer held no appeal.

Loki shook his head calmly.

"Charges are irrelevant. You can say whatever you want. Class S wanted criminal, ordinary citizen—I don't care."

Cheadle hadn't expected her most compelling offer to be meaningless to Loki.
