Chapter 332 - Chapter 333: After Marriage

Because it was their wedding night, Natsume didn't sneak out before morning.

Although Hinata Hyuga's physical stamina was weak and she didn't last half an hour, it was understandable.

Natsume suspected her shyness had something to do with it.

After marriage, things should improve.

A warm night passed.

When Natsume opened his eyes, he felt a bit of numbness in his arm.

Hinata was hugging him tightly, sleeping soundly.

Her entire weight had been pressing down on his arm.

Thanks to his Otsutsuki Clan physical constitution, aside from mild discomfort, he wasn't too bothered.

Truth be told, Hinata was the perfect living pillow—warm and soft.

Natsume almost didn't want to get up.

However, the beautiful sight before him also stirred some unease in him.

Weighing both options, Natsume decided it was better to just get up.

He carefully pulled his arm free.

Hinata didn't wake up.

For her, last night had been a time of both mental and physical exhaustion.

Natsume covered her with the quilt, got dressed, then opened the door.

"Hanabi?"

He was somewhat surprised. "What are you doing outside the door?"

"I… came to call you two for breakfast."

Hanabi immediately turned red and stammered slightly as she spoke.

"You guys eat first."

Natsume smiled seeing her cute, shy expression.

Hanabi became even more embarrassed.

Without even responding, she quickly ran off.

Natsume rubbed his chin.

He strongly suspected his little sister-in-law had seen more than she should have.

Without dwelling on it, he headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

Returning to the room, Hinata still hadn't woken up.

So he didn't disturb her.

Instead, he entered the Heavenly Network.

With nothing urgent to do, he decided to play a game first.

The Heavenly Network offered both single-player and online multiplayer games.

Natsume was playing League of Legends.

Ever since he exchanged Destiny Points to introduce this game into the ninja world, it had become quite popular.

After all, it didn't emphasize bloodline.

Even a Hokage would lose when destined to lose.

Midway through the match, he sensed Hinata stirring.

She frowned slightly upon opening her eyes.

Seeing Natsume nearby, she instinctively smiled.

But soon after, she softly inhaled.

Her body felt a bit uncomfortable.

Luckily, she was a Medical Ninja.

She didn't overthink it and immediately treated herself.

A flash of chakra light appeared as Hinata stepped off the bed.

She checked her condition, instinctively crossing her arms over her chest.

Moments later, she put on a kimono-style pajama.

Then she walked toward Natsume.

He was sitting on the sofa, eyes closed.

Hinata noticed his bracelet and knew he wasn't asleep.

She sat beside Natsume, took his hand, and placed it gently against her cheek.

A subtle smile of happiness curled the corner of her mouth.

A dream she'd held for years had finally come true.

She felt like the luckiest person alive.

Natsume ended his game.

Opening his eyes, he took in Hinata's fair skin.

Her long legs, both shapely and slender, were pressed tightly together, her white eyes shimmering like a tranquil lake.

The pajamas clung to her curvaceous frame.

Though not yet at Tsunade's level, Hinata was young—there was still time to one day surpass her.

Right now, both of them carried the Yin Seal.

"Brother Natsume."

Hinata noticed his gaze, her face unexpectedly flushing red.

"Are you hungry?"

Natsume leaned in until their faces were nearly touching, a pleasant scent wafting between them.

Clearly unaccustomed to such closeness, Hinata felt a little lightheaded.

"What do you want to eat?"

Natsume brushed his lips against the corner of her mouth, then let her go.

If he kept this up, she was going to faint for sure.

Even so, Hinata had already turned red as if steaming.

Just like last night.

A faint smirk touched Natsume's lips—it was oddly endearing.

"A-anything is fine..."

Hinata mumbled, lowering her gaze.

"Alright then."

Natsume tousled her hair gently before heading toward the kitchen.

Internally relieved, Hinata couldn't help but smile sheepishly afterward.

Because they were in the Hyuga mansion, the kitchen was also in a separate room.

Truthfully, Natsume found it inconvenient—it was quite far.

After two days, he could move Hinata into his home.

Still, the thought of living with Tsunade reminded him painfully of the problem.

But it was impossible to keep Hinata living permanently within the Hyuga clan.

Arriving at the kitchen, Natsume quickly decided to make some porridge.

Hinata had just recovered from significant energy loss and needed nourishment.

Truthfully, with her current power, it was nothing more than a superficial injury.

Earlier, he'd already noticed that she'd used Medical Ninjutsu.

By now, there was hardly any issue left.

Soon, Natsume returned with a bowl of porridge in hand.

"It smells so good!"

Hinata couldn't help exclaiming.

"Here, eat."

Natsume tousled her hair gently.

"Mmm."

Hinata picked up the bowl and took a gentle sip.

Though she ate heartily, she remained elegant.

"After this, where do you want to go?"

Natsume asked while watching her eat.

"I'll follow your lead."

Hinata glanced at him shyly, speaking softly.

"Then let's go to the Hokage Building."

Natsume paused for a moment. "Might as well see what's going on."

"Mmm."

Hinata's eyes lit up slightly as she gave a small nod.

The bowl was soon emptied.

*Chapter Not Finished Yet!!!*

Natsume took away the empty bowl.

When he came back, Hinata had already changed into a formal white kimono.

"Very pretty."

Natsume looked her over with a smile.

Hinata instantly felt shy.

She married, yet still seemed very much like a maiden.

Natsume mused inwardly that, given her personality, it might take a long time before she changed.

He wouldn't push her, though.

[Flying Thunder God Technique] activated,

they arrived directly at the Hokage's office.

Samui and Mabo stood to greet their master, but upon seeing Hinata, they froze in surprise.

"You may leave."

Natsume said offhandedly.

Samui and Mabo gave a brief bow and turned to leave.

Hinata Hyuga already knew they were the Hokage's secretary and paid no attention.

However, she was quite interested in the documents on the table.

"If you want to be the Hokage's secretary, you can be one too."

Natsume casually picked up a document and handed it to her.

Hinata wanted to respond but couldn't bring herself to speak.

She did want the position—it meant being with Natsume whenever she wanted.

But as the heir to the Hyuga clan, she occasionally had ninja missions to complete.

Given her current status, she didn't technically have to do anything at all.

Still, she wasn't someone who would lazily waste her days away.

"You're the Hokage's Wife now."

Natsume gestured for her to come closer. As she walked over, he pulled her into an embrace and said, "You can do whatever you want."

A deep blush spread across Hinata Hyuga's face.

"I'll teach you."

One arm wrapped around her waist while the other opened the document.

There was just a soft cushion for support.

Hinata looked down carefully. She shook off the dizziness for a moment, her thoughts gradually clearing.

In reality, if she truly became the secretary, there wouldn't actually be much work to do.

Natsume was happy to be lazy again.

Half an hour later, all the documents on the table were completed.

Hinata Hyuga was deep in thought.

Suddenly, she noticed Natsume closing all the windows and locking the door.

She paused briefly, then realized what was coming next.

Right here?

Hinata understood exactly what was about to happen, but knowing her personality, even the slightest protest only seemed to encourage him further.
