Three days passed in the blink of an eye, and a scroll inscribed with a complete new jutsu appeared before everyone.
It was still the same familiar quiet room, except there were a few more people inside today.
"I'll take a look first."
Kawaki directly grabbed the scroll—no one tried to stop him.
Those bold enough to challenge him had already seen it, while those who hadn't dared not try.
"Is there anything wrong with it?"
After all, this idea had been Kawaki's. Mito politely gave him some credit.
"Cough cough~"
"I think it should work fine for me."
Kawaki barely finished reading how many hand seals it required before giving a vague response, causing Tsunade to stifle laughter behind her hand.
That's not what Grandma was asking, right?
If even he couldn't use it, this new technique must have some serious limitations.
"Yeah right, only seven seals. Definitely no problem at all for you, Lord Kawaki."
Orochimaru shot Kawaki a disdainful glance. As expected, the same bed doesn't produce two different kinds of people.
To him, this couple were both first-class "unschooled in ninjutsu."
"Don't act so sarcastic."
Kawaki caught Orochimaru's mockery immediately and shot back.
"Oh? So you actually understood?"
Orochimaru chuckled lightly, his tone dripping with contempt.
Combined with his cold expression, the insult factor was off the charts.
"You've got guts. Let's settle this outside, one-on-one."
If not for Mito being present, Kawaki wouldn't just be pointing at Orochimaru with one hand.
Right now, he probably should've already punched Orochimaru in the face.
"Do you have any shame? Stop fooling around."
"And you—stop laughing already."
Tsunade was left completely speechless. When there were no show-offs around, Kawaki became the biggest attention-seeker.
Jiraiya, watching from the sidelines, got dragged into this unexpectedly.
"What does that have to do with me?"
Jiraiya pointed at himself in disbelief. It seemed like justice really didn't exist these days.
The younger ones held back their laughter until their faces burned red, yet not one dared make a sound.
"Hahaha~ You two remind me of Hashirama and Tobirama."
"They used to mess around like this often too."
Only Mito laughed out loud, wearing a nostalgic expression.
Thanks to this disruption, the palpably tense atmosphere instantly relaxed.
"This technique requires two people working together simultaneously. Did you see that?"
Orochimaru let out a cold snort but chose not to argue further with Kawaki, whom he considered a brute.
"Of course I saw it~"
Kawaki hurriedly glanced down again and finally noticed the small writing at the bottom.
'This technique is specifically designed for Tailed Beasts and requires cooperation between two individuals.'
Orochimaru didn't bother calling him out on missing it earlier. Rolling his eyes, he continued explaining.
"I won't go into detail about how immense Nine - Tailed Fox's chakra is."
"This technique requires one ninja with strong Yang-natured chakra and another with strong Yin-natured chakra to perform simultaneously."
"This way, the Nine - Tailed Fox's chakra can be split evenly in two."
"While finding someone suitable with Yang-natured chakra isn't difficult, options become quite limited when looking for someone with Yin-natured."
Although possessing Yin-natured chakra himself, Orochimaru didn't consider himself appropriate for this role.
His chakra reserves were indeed colossal compared to ordinary ninja's, but they still fell short compared to the Nine - Tailed Fox.
Moreover, Yin-natured chakra isn't his main specialty, so naturally he lacks proficiency in it.
"Sensei, just how strong do you mean?"
Nawaki asked cautiously, trying to figure out just how strict the requirements were.
"At least on par with me."
Orochimaru paused briefly before answering Nawaki's question with surprising seriousness.
"Uh... Forget I asked."
After hearing that, Nawaki couldn't think of a single person.
Someone whose power rivals his teacher's and who can skillfully manipulate Yin-natured chakra?
None of his friends fit the bill.
"I qualify, and the other one can be Fugaku."
Kawaki immediately thought of the Uchiha clan—it made perfect sense given their affinity for Yin-natured chakra.
Fugaku, with his Mangekyou Sharingan, definitely had enough chakra to spare.
[The Uchiha definitely have abundant chakra reserves—it really depends on who you're comparing them to. And as their ocular abilities grow, their chakra reserves will significantly increase as well. Take Sasuke's evolution as an example—his chakra reserves became absolutely terrifying.]
"Almost forgot about him—he actually is a suitable candidate."
Orochimaru nodded, recognizing Fugaku's strength.
After all, Orochimaru still needed Fugaku's cooperation to achieve the Eternal Mangekyou.
As for the Yang-natured candidate, he immediately thought of Kawaki.
When he compared them, his relationship with Fugaku still felt somewhat distant.
"So quickly decided already?"
Mito didn't mean it as a challenge; she was just relieved not to have to think about it herself.
"Yeah, both Fugaku and I have no problem with it."
Kawaki nodded and placed the scroll back on the table.
"This jutsu doesn't even have a name yet?"
Minato and others passed the scroll around but saw no name listed for the technique.
"That's a minor issue. How about you guys come up with one?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Jiraiya regretted them—when Minato was around, what good name could possibly come out?
His reputation for terrible naming choices was infamous in Konoha.
"Great idea!"
Minato readily agreed, clearly very pleased with it himself.
Such a powerful sealing technique definitely deserved an awesome-sounding name.
"Here we go again."
Kushina covered her forehead with one hand while exchanging helpless smiles with Misaki.
"Since it's a jutsu for sealing tailed beasts, and painstakingly developed by these senior experts..."
"How about naming it 'Uzumaki Orochimaru Dual Sealing Technique for Tailed Beasts'?"
Looking at the proud expression on Minato's face, clearly he himself found this name quite satisfying.
It incorporated everyone's names involved, plus the usage method and target—absolutely perfect!!!
Ohh...

That's right, absolutely perfect!!!
"Stop suggesting such horrifying names."
Tsunade clearly couldn't bear the thought of letting this awkward name be given to her grandmother's last-developed technique.
"Not pretty enough?"
"Tsunade, what do you think?"
Rather than doubting his own naming abilities, Minato questioned Tsunade's taste instead.
"Cough cough~"
"One word: complicated."
Kawaki couldn't believe Minato had the nerve to ask such a question in the first place.
Just who taught you this thick-skinned attitude?
"Good job. Next time, don't bother."
Orochimaru had heard a little about this before, but today was really an eye-opener.
"Alright."
Minato's heart finally sank for good.
He didn't know when his cursed talent would finally find someone who appreciated it.
"I'll name one. How about 'Soul Departing Great Art'?"
Kawaki went with a fairly standard name, borrowing heavily from martial arts novels he'd read before.
"Not great."
Tsunade replied bluntly. Obviously, it wasn't a name that fit the Naruto universe.
"It's not better than mine."
Minato muttered under his breath, but Kawaki still caught every word.
"Take your crap name and get out."
Kawaki pointed toward the door, clearly showing Minato the way out.
"Tch! Whatever, I'm out."
Minato left directly with Kushina. He was heading to Fugaku's place.
The two of them actually got along pretty well.
Watching Minato and Kushina leave, Nawaki bit back the name forming on his lips, too afraid to say it out loud.
"This jutsu could be considered Lady Mito's magnum opus."
"I think it would be better if Lady Mito named it herself."
Though Orochimaru's words were polite, everyone present knew exactly what he meant.
Everyone's expression darkened; there were less than seven days left in the three-month deadline.
"In that case, I won't hold back."
[Simple enough, let's just call it the Soul Division Seal.]
