In the VIP room of the hospital, Old Master Gray leaned back against the pillows and watched his grandson, who sat a few steps away. "I heard you broke up with that woman?"
Jeffrey's expression was calm, as if it didn't surprise him that Old Master Gray had found out so fast.
The Gray household always had eyes everywhere.
Even now, recovering in the hospital, the old man seemed to know everything that happened in the family.
"Yeah. We broke up," Jeffrey said flatly.
"See? You should've listened to me from the start. That woman is simply not right for you!" Old Master Gray's cloudy eyes sharpened as they fixed on his grandson. "At least you're not like your father. You know when to pull back; otherwise you'd end up just like him!"
A cold smile tugged at the corner of Jeffrey's mouth as he met his grandfather's gaze.
"So, that psychologist Wallace... was arranged by you to come to the Gray household, right?"
