"Sure," Rachel replied.

From the information she had gathered, it seemed that George's car and Liam's car had been driving one after the other when the accident happened.

That meant George was actually the first eyewitness to the whole thing.

If she wanted to truly understand the details of the case, asking George directly would be the best way.

"Want to grab a bite to eat?" George asked, glancing at his watch. "It's about dinner time."

"I think I'll pass," Rachel said with a polite smile, keeping a safe distance.

Although she wasn't sure if George still harbored any feelings for her, she didn't want to give him the wrong idea.

"I just wanted to go over some details about the case," George said with an easy tone. "We can talk while eating. It won't take long."

Rachel hesitated for a moment. "Alright then but we'll split the bill."
