Selene~
The new apartment was… quiet.
It wasn't much, wasn't one of those overly fancy houses. It was a small house with two rooms. It was quiet, secluded and surrounded by flowers.
Cassidy and I were going to stay here, from today. The place smelled like lavender and new paint but I loved it. It was secluded, just like I wanted. It was way too far from Moonbeam Coffee but Cassidy insisted on staying with me. I was glad to have her, of course.
I'd told Luca that I was moving, it was just a text. He didn't respond.
Cassidy was already opening boxes in the living room, watching her made the place feel less foreign. I went to my room with a box in hand and took it in.
There were no thin walls, no mold, no rickety shelves. It was standard and neat. Nothing like home.
