Selene~
I went to visit her. I don't know why I did, but just minutes after Brittany drove off, I stepped out and made my way for Sophia's house.
As expected, the media surrounded her house. A small army of reporters and cameramen crowded the front gate with their tripods planted like barricades. They shouted and made noise as if their persistence would somehow make her open the door and answer all of their questions.
I stopped at the corner, tugged my face cap lower and adjusted my mask. There was no way I could walk straight up without being swarmed. And I didn't have a phone that I could use to reach her either.
I looked at her house, trying to find a way in without being spotted when I noticed a narrow alley that ran behind her street. It was filled with overgrown weeds and overflowing trash bins but it led to exactly where I needed it to.
