Chapter 29 - Mall (2)

As the simulation restarted, Jack heard Madison say loudly, "Man, is it hot in here." She sounded like a theater student reading lines from a script they found thoroughly boring.

As the two girls turned and gave Madison a look that clearly said, "What's this bitch up to?", Madison pulled her hoody off. But when she did, she inadvertently grabbed her camisole as well. So, when she pulled her hoody up, she pulled her camisole up as well and exposed her naked breasts.

He wasn't sure how he expected Madison to respond, but it certainly wasn't what actually happened. She paused for a moment, with her hoody over hear head. She slumped slightly, then straightened, then completed her motion, pulling hoody and tank top off completely.

Jack and the two girls stared at Madison, mouths agape. As they watched in shock, she turned to face the two girls, and while cupping her own grapefruit sized breasts, said defiantly, "Still think I'm flat chested?"

The one girl dropped the blouse she was holding, then both turned as one and bolted out of the store. As the two girls ran, Jack dragged his gaze away from her spectacular jugs and noted that she had a look of disappointment on her face.

She dropped her hands, freeing her breasts, which didn't sag, then said, "Damn, why'd they run?"

Ignoring her hoody on the floor, she walked towards the front of the store. As he followed, she walked out the front of the store, then turned towards where he had been sitting and walked in that direction. Realizing where she was headed, he rushed ahead then sat, locking in place, then exited observer-mode.

As she approached, he heard a few people walking nearby gasp, one of them saying, "Damn, girl!"

She came around the planter box that bordered the seating area and stopped in front of him, hands on hips. He looked up, not at her face, but at her tits and said, "I take it you want to try again?"

She blow out an exasperated breath, then in a meek tone said, "Yes, please."

"Maybe this time," he replied, "don't say it so loud? You should sound like you're speaking to yourself, not the entire store."

"Wait? You saw that?" she asked, as a few shoppers stopped to stare.

"Yes, I was trying out observer-mode. It's great!"

"Great. Great, he says. Just great." Then she stared at him expectantly.

He was still enjoying the view. She waited for a few moments, then noticed the direction of his gaze.

"Enjoying the view?" she asked.

"Yes, yes I am," he replied. Then looked around. "And I'm not the only one."

She jolted, then slowly turned, finally noticing the growing crowd. Instead of screaming, or covering herself, she stalked towards one older gentleman and held out her right hand.

"Twenty bucks!" she demanded.

"What?" he asked.

"Twenty bucks!" Then she cupped her breast with her left hand and said, "This show's not free. Twenty bucks if you want to keep looking. Otherwise, clear out!"

Beginning to think that Madison might be a double down type of gal, he decided to put the older gentlemen out of his virtual misery and reset the simulation. As soon as he appeared back in the armchair, he entered observer-mode and ran into the store, wanting to catch take two.

It took her five tries before she got the response she was looking for. On her last attempt, she managed to get her volume and tone right, and managed to look mostly nonchalant when she pulled her hoody over her head. The girls still left the store, but it was with heads down, shoulders slumped. Madison, finally victorious, came out of the store, still without her hoody and stood in front of Jack.

"Well, what do you think?"

"That was believable, and I think you got the response you wanted. Are you gonna do it for real?"

"I...don't really want to, but I think I have to."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I think if I don't, I'll regret it. "

"Okay. Ready?" he asked.

She took a deep breath, then nodded.

He ended the simulation and found himself back in the soul space along with Madison. Out in the physical world, he opened his eyes, then pulled out his phone. He decided he would record the girls walking out of the store so that Madison could watch it later.

After about five minutes, the girls came out of the store, shoulder slumped. They turned and began walking along the mall corridor in Jack's direction. He leaned back in the chair, but held his phone low so it wouldn't be obvious he was recording. As the girls passed, he caught a snippet of their conversation.

"...think they're fake?"

"Probably not. I've seen way too many fakes lately. My sister made me come with her to..."

Then they were past him and he couldn't hear any more of their conversation.

In his soul space, Jack said, "I was able to record them coming out of the store. Even caught part of their conversation."

"For real?"

"Yup."

"Great. I'll be out in a bit. I found a few things I want to try on. Then you can show me the video."

In the physical world, Jack had gone back to doing research on his phone. Around a half hour later, a girl in a short skirt and blouse stopped in front of him. He looked up to discover that it was Madison.

She bounced up and down a few of times while asking, "So, what do you think?"

She was wearing a brown skirt that came down to mid thigh, and a dark green, frilly crop top, with a square neckline that showed her clavicles but not her cleavage. Not that it mattered. When she bounced, her sweater puppies cavorted under her top, dragging it this way and that. It was a mesmerizing sight.

"That looks... nice," he said. Still staring at the gentle motion under her top.

"Thanks," she said.

After a few moments of silence, she asked, "Um, Jack?"

When he didn't answer, she leaned over slightly and waved her hand in front of his face, her upper body motion sending her sweater puppies cavorting again. She noticed the direction of his gaze and asked, "What? Is there something wrong?"

"Nope," he said, drawing it out as he said it, and popping the 'p'.

She looked down at her top and plucked at it. "Then why-" She stopped, then twitched her shoulders left and right once. "Ooohhh!"

She looked at him and grinned, a sense of satisfaction reaching him from across their connection.

She stuck her right hand out and said, "Twenty bucks."

They both chuckled, then broke down into a fit of laughter that was hard to suppress. Once it passed, Jack said, "I still can't believe you actually did that."

"I know, right? I-" then she stopped. But after a moment, her soul space version spoke instead, "I don't know what came over me, it...it just happened. It was like something snapped, and I decided, fine. If you're gonna stare, I should be compensated. Besides, it's not like it really happened."

Back in the physical world, she said, "So, there's one more store I want to check out. Is that okay?"

"Sure, that's fine." Then in soul space, "After this, we can stop by a thrift store and see what we can find for a disguise."
