"Shit!"
Scott Lang shouted as he dove aside.
A blast slammed into the ground where he had just been standing—
leaving a smoking crater, rubble exploding in all directions.
"Dad!"
"I'm fine! Don't come over!"
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Father and daughter immediately fell into chaotic evasive scrambling.
---
"Hahahaha!"
MODOK's shrill, arrogant laughter echoed through the battlefield as he hovered high above.
"If the Great One hadn't ordered me to take you alive, Lang—you'd already be dead!"
Scott grimaced.
He hated to admit it, but the big-headed bastard wasn't wrong.
Right now, Scott was no match for MODOK at all.
The Ant-Man suit, aside from changing size, had almost no offensive capability.
---
"So, you must be another human from the outside world."
MODOK's enormous face turned toward Alex.
"For decades not a single outsider appeared. And suddenly, so many show up at once…
Not bad. The Great One will be pleased."
"The 'Great One'—you mean Kang?"
Alex asked calmly, even though he couldn't understand the native shouts of "Kang! Kang! Kang!" all around.
Based on the intel from Scott, the conclusion was obvious.
Scott, climbing up from the dirt, confirmed it:
"He's Kang's guy!"
Kang's fleet—
so they really had come.
Alex smiled faintly.
Perfect timing.
He was going to find Kang anyway.
---
"Looks like you've figured out a few things," MODOK sneered.
"But that's fine. Just come along quietly. Otherwise, I'll have to be… impolite."
He leaned forward like a grotesque caricature of menace.
"Trust me—I'm hoping you resist. In this boring place, unleashing firepower on living targets is my only entertainment."
The threat couldn't be more blatant.
Would Alex care?
---
"'Impolite?'"
Alex's lips curved upward in a dismissive smirk.
He lifted his hand, casually—
And unleashed a tidal wave of telekinetic force.
A single instant—
a cosmic-scale shockwave burst outward.
The entire sky rippled like a storm-tossed ocean.
The dozens upon dozens of battleships that had been firing relentlessly upon the rebel base—
were swept away like paper boats in a hurricane.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
One after another, the ships flipped, spiraled, crashed into one another—
Then erupted into dazzling fireballs across the sky.
A spectacular cascade of explosions lit the heavens like a universe-sized fireworks show.
Alex had no intention of letting the rebels be slaughtered.
Kang's forces had come for him and Scott.
This attack was his fault.
He wouldn't sit back and watch.
---
MODOK's face froze.
All expression died as if someone had unplugged it from reality.
His giant head trembled.
"What… What… What—"
"That's impossible!"
"That's—THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!"
"I must be hallucinating!"
Only after several long seconds did he manage to scream.
A wave of his hand—
and the fleet of over two hundred battleships was… gone.
Burning debris falling from the sky.
MODOK's mechanical limbs trembled uncontrollably.
---
Scott and Cassie?
Speechless.
Eyes wide.
Souls shaken.
Minds broken.
Scott nearly bit his own tongue.
Moments ago, he'd already been shocked by Alex knocking out dozens of native warriors in a blink.
He thought that was frightening.
Turns out—
That was nothing.
Destroying people?
Child's play.
Destroying an entire fleet?
Also child's play.
Any comparison to the Avengers suddenly felt laughable.
Even the heavy hitters—Thor, Vision—
couldn't pull off something like this.
This wasn't power.
This was a natural disaster wearing a human face.
---
"Who… who IS this man…?"
"He wiped out Kang's fleet like it was nothing!"
Rebel fighters all around stared at Alex as if witnessing the birth of a god.
Kang—the demon king who conquered the entire Quantum Realm in twenty years—
his army, known for its invincible technology—
Had been annihilated instantly.
If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, no one would believe it.
---
Alex ignored the shock around him.
He simply reached toward the floating MODOK—
With another casual gesture.
Telekinesis seized MODOK like a claw.
His oversized armored body lurched helplessly toward Alex.
---
"W-What are you doing!?"
"STOP! STOOOP!"
MODOK panicked, thrashing, boosting his thrusters at max power in a futile attempt to escape.
Useless.
He was dragged through the air like a toy balloon on a string.
"DIE, YOU MONSTER!"
In desperation, MODOK bellowed and fired everything he had—
blasting Alex with a storm of concentrated quantum artillery.
But Alex didn't dodge.
Didn't even blink.
He let the attacks hit him point-blank.
---
"They… hit?"
MODOK froze again, blinking once, twice, disbelieving.
For a moment—
he actually felt hope.
Maybe he had hurt the monster.
Maybe—
But then he saw Alex standing exactly as before.
Untouched.
Unburned.
Expression unchanged.
Completely unharmed.
---
CRRRKKKK!
Alex clenched his hand slightly.
MODOK's armored chassis began bending inward—
crumpling like tinfoil under impossible pressure.
MODOK shrieked as the metal crushed against his limbs and body.
All thoughts of attack vanished.
He was too busy screaming.
