Tristan led me down the stairs, one step at a time. The lower we got, the higher the number of heads that turned to look at us.
Luckily, the looks we received were in no way scary or stuff. Just curious. Some even looked shocked.
By the time we got to the bottom of the stairs, they had all gone back to their various activities, and I, on the other hand, had just begun mine.
I stared. Like an idiot. Without shame or remorse.
Luckily, Tristan didn't snap me out of it and due to his heavily intimidating presence, the people around us didn't give me weird looks, but honestly, I really couldn't care less.
Everything about the place left me in utter amazement. From their attire to their interactions and actions, they carried out shamelessly and effortlessly.
None of them were outright fucking, but I couldn't tell if it would have been better if they were.
