Yesterday night.
Following Raizel, Marco and Maria left the realm as they were done there. Someone stayed there — it was Aizis.
Aizis slowly sat down on the ground filled with countless pieces of snowflakes.
"I'm waiting for you," Aizis spoke up.
"I know what you're afraid of. I can understand. Don't worry, they won't sense your presence anymore — neither the presence of the realm itself. I've isolated the realm from the layer itself, so come and tell me everything," Aizis added slowly, staring toward the sky while smiling.
Aizis slowly laid himself down in the snowflakes, as he seemed to be a bit tired. He was still smiling while looking toward the sky.
Some snow appeared from the darkness as it gathered in one place and slowly created a soul — no, a person. It was a person, but it wasn't. It was the soul of a person that manifested like a human. Slowly, the snow soul gathered and created a complete person — a familiar face. It was Renric all along.
Aizis didn't move his face anywhere, as he was still smiling while looking toward the sky. He closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them again.
"It was a nice plan you performed, but still, I won't get in your way. I will never let a tale receive a conclusion like this," Aizis spoke up.
"But now, I want to listen to your tale. Will I have the honor to do so?" Aizis added, as he stared toward Renric with his narrow eyes.
Renric smiled a bit and raised his voice.
"My story? It's not some fantasy, you know. It's not a nice story with countless colors painted on the canvas of reality. You will never like it," Renric replied.
"A tale will always be beautiful. It might be a tragedy or a tale filled with fantasy, but I love to listen to them. I want to know more and more about every single being in creation — and then, I will find a perfect story, a story with a perfect conclusion. A story where no one cries at the end. A story without a piece of pain at the end," Aizis spoke up slowly. His voice appeared to be a bit broken, as he was barely speaking — as if he was carrying some burden that's destroying him every moment, forcing him to do something.
"I will definitely find a story with a perfect conclusion, and that's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for that ever since then," Aizis concluded. Yet, he didn't seem to be able to finish his words — something held him back.
Renric smiled a bit toward Aizis as he slowly sat down in the snow. He started to speak, lost in thoughts while telling his tale.
It was a beautiful morning as the sun slowly rose. As it was winter, it took a bit longer for the sun to rise.
Snowflakes kept slowly falling after taking decent breaks several times.
It was a small city that resided in an unknown realm, a realm similar to the 8th supreme realm. It was a decently active city, as some people were chattering all around. Everyone seemed to be nice, happy, and fine there — they were laughing, doing their regular activities.
Children were playing, smiling, and running in a field that resided inside the city.
A boy around 12 years old was playing along with a few other kids. He had dark red hair, similar to Renric. It was actually Renric, in his childhood.
Everything in the city was fine, everyone was happy. There was no flaw in it.
But how long did it last? Not quite long.
An army with countless members appeared in the city. They were strong and terrifying — they seemed to be human alike but were brutal and heartless. They killed many civilians one by one, killed everyone who tried to get in their way. And then, they forced every other individual in the city to leave and run toward the sea and forest, which were placed far away from the city.
The civilians were just normal human beings. They couldn't survive such a long journey all the way to the forest, where they might find a place to live or something to eat.
Some of them died while starving. Some of them barely managed to survive through suffering.
And then, they tried their best to survive in the forest. The lack of food and supplies caused a massive problem among the humans. They started to murder each other just to survive.
Somehow, Renric and his family — his mother and sister — managed to survive. However, it didn't last much longer.
After a few months, a ruler appeared there — the ruler who took over the city. He decided to build a palace in that place.
The civilians became a barrier to the ruler, preventing him from removing the forest, and so — it was their conclusion. He killed every single one of them slowly. He killed Renric's sister, as she was the first person to go against him.
After the massacre, the only survivors left were Renric and his mother.
However, the spirit that was given to his mother by his sister and the victims didn't leave her soul. She decided to stand up against the ruler as well. However, it was nothing more than a reason for his mother's death. She died, taking away Renric's last hope.
Years passed. Renric slowly inherited the power of a supreme ruler from his ancestors. A supreme ruler's inheritance comes from their ancestor, but it's unknown who will inherit the power. Even though their race didn't hold any special magic power, they had an ancestor who was a supreme ruler.
After receiving the power of a supreme ruler, Renric killed every single soldier and the ruler himself in the supreme realm.
The realm lost every single individual — leaving Renric alone.
Many years passed even after that. Raizel died for some unknown reason. As Renric was an ally of Raizel, he was left alone.
Someone appeared in the 8th realm — a girl of around 20+ years old, as she seemed.
Someone had teleported her there. After finding her in the realm, Renric wanted to kill her — but somehow, he didn't.
After asking her questions, he didn't find any answers, as she had lost her memory and was acting like a newbie child. Renric let her stay there in the realm. After several years, Renric decided to marry her — and he did. They had quite some nice time to spend. But how long? It's a harsh question to answer but not so long.
A few years passed. A sacred spirit appeared in the realm. As the supreme rulers are the enemies of the sacred spirits, It was obvious for the sacred spirit to create a flaw in Renric's new life. He did it, he murdered the girl and left Renric at death's door.
Renric lost one more person in his life. Lost the final hope.
His tale concluded there, and he stopped speaking to Aizis.
"I will wait for the time when I will be able to smile again. And for that, I want to survive," Renric spoke up.
Renric slowly disappeared from there, leaving some snowflakes behind.
Aizis simply smiled, without speaking a single word.
