ELara and her friends sat at their spot discussing about college as they await admission into the university in the city.
"Very soon,we won't have to light fire to keep us warm again I heard in the there's an electrical appliance that keep people warm I the city" Sadie said
"Really" Melissa asked with wide eyes"of course, you just have to slap it a few times and boom you're all warm" Sadie explained and Elara sighed
"oh my" Melissa screamed holding her chess dramatically
"stop spreading fake rumors" Elara scolded
"it's true" she retorted
"that aside,I heard guys from the city are so cool" Melissa said excitedly
"don't get too excited, the most handsome one belongs to me" Sadie argued
and everyone laughed"you guys shouldn't be like this, guys from our village aren't that bad" Elara said
"and beside we're going to the university to become great women in the future not to look for husbands " she added crushing their hopes entirely "that's harsh" Melissa pouted
"Your brother is here" Aurora who had kept quiet the entire time announced and they all stood up excitedly as Liam got closer
He is Elara brother, A dark tall, good looking young man in his mid 30s, Admired by the villagers, he is most respected after his father the pastor in their local church he studied in the city and is always helpful when the villagers had to deal with foreigner

Damien Sat on the couch with Evelyn on his laps, two wine glasses and a bottle of wine were on the table in front of them, Evelyn had a small frown her face and she looked a bit worried.
"Wish I can come with you, I'm afraid those girls from the mountains might snatch you from me" she said and he smiled
"You don't have to,ok you shouldn't bother yourself over something so trivial" he said and she nodded and sipped from her glass.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning Loud chatters filled the village as the people move to church the atmosphere was lively and filled with joy as everyone gathered at the church auditorium to worship God.

After the Benediction the pastor announced that a charity organization is coming over from the city to give charity donations to the orphanage and developers too are coming along to take surveys. The people were excited after receiving the news.

Everyone exchanged pleasantries and went to their respective home.
The village was alive with excitement as people gathered in the field to celebrate. The air was filled with laughter and chatter, and a huge fire crackled in the center, casting a warm glow over the crowd. Elara and her friends huddled together, discussing the about random stuff and about the developers coming the next day just then her brother Liam came to call her home, she bid her friends goodbye,"see you girls tomorrow!"and she went with her brother home.
The next morning Elara tiptoed out of her room as gently as gently as she could, her brother has ordered her not to take a step out of the house that day, but she really wants to see the visitors

"You should just prepare for the wedding, one of us should oversee the preparation, after the wedding we can go for our honeymoon in any place you want okay? "
"Whatever, not like anything I say would change the situation anyways, let's have breakfast together at least" she said
"I'm almost late already,I shouldn't keep Mr Walker waiting" he said as they both walked out of his room and he left the house without having breakfast

"Sure" Damien replied taking his briefcase from his assistant before getting into helicopter
the rest followed except his assistant, since he'll be the one in charge of the company for the next one week.
Elara peeked at her brother through the book she's reading, he was deeply engrossed in the book he is reading
He had brought her here to read with him, he won't even let her out, and she's been looking for every opportunity to sneak out to meet her friends.
The stuttering drone of an helicopter snapped her out of her thought and her head snapped to the window's direction instantly.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as there's nothing that would change her brother's mind
The helicopter made it's landing,as the wind blew on the people standing, the village chief and the pastor stood in front and others stood behind as a sign of respect
They stared at the helicopter in awe as they discussed amongst themselves
the village chief stood straight, with no hint of surprise or shock on his face
Even though he had never seen one before, he won't embarrass himself in front of the visitors, staring at him alone, one would know he's very strict and not the type to tolerate shit from anyone.
