Mansion Surveillance Room, Evening
Henrik leaned over the surveillance monitor, eyes fixed on the frozen frame of the masked man staring directly into the camera.
He pressed rewind. Henrik's jaw tightened.
He turned to the table behind him where several printed photos were scattered — images from the hospital incident, the explosion site, and a few blurred captures from a street camera near the mansion.
He picked up a photo — an older image showing a tall figure standing across the road from the hospital. Shadowed, unclear — but something about the stance… the posture...
Henrik muttered to himself. It's the same man…
He looked back at the CCTV still — the same frame Caleb had seen earlier. You've been watching us. From the start. His expression hardened as realization struck.
The indoor pool of the mansion. Wide shot of the pool. Still. Dim blue lights reflect off the surface. Caleb stands waist-deep in the water, back turned. Muscular, composed, but tense. His brows are slightly furrowed. Eyes locked on nothing.
Caleb deep in thoughts, He wanted me to see him. For a brief moment, the image of the masked man on the CCTV came to him, his gaze fixed on the lens. He's not hiding anymore.
Caleb runs his hands back through his wet hair. His chest rises with a deep breath. He suddenly dips under the water, going completely silent. Underwater panel — just silence. His eyes are closed.
He bursts up again, water dripping down his face. Caleb in low voice,Think. He leans against the pool wall, arms spread on the ledge, head tilted back. Who is he watching?
Maya lies on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Her eyes are tired. The room feels suffocating. Same walls. Same air. Same silence...
She sits up, slowly rubbing her face in frustration. I need to get out of here. She opens her door and quietly walks through the hallway. As she passes the glass wall near the pool, she stops.
Caleb is stepping out of the water, shirtless, water dripping down his toned body. His wet hair falls across his forehead. He's wearing only jeans.
Her body went rigid, eyes locked on him—Caleb emerging from the pool, jeans clinging to his sculpted body. A mix of surprise and something she couldn't name tightened her chest, leaving her momentarily speechless. Why does he always look like this...
She quickly looks away, swallowing hard. No. Don't be stupid. He's still the reason I'm here. She immediately shakes the thought away and straightens her back. Her expression hardens.
She pushes open the glass door to the pool area. Caleb turns to look at her, drying his hair with a towel, calm but alert.
Her tone was even, almost detached. I want to go outside. Caleb raises an eyebrow, silent for a beat. Caleb with cold tune, No.
Maya was desperate, I'm not trying to run away. I just need some air. I feel like I'm losing my mind in that room.
Caleb saw the desperation in her eyes, but he couldn't let anything happen to her. Its not safe, he said.
She straightened, determination in her eyes. Why? What aren't you telling me? Caleb steps closer, his gaze unreadable. You don't need to know everything.
Maya git furious. So you're just going to keep me locked in forever? He studied her closely, his eyes narrowing just slightly as he realized her determination wouldn't waver. With a controlled, steady voice, he said, You can go… but not alone.
Maya look at him with confused expression, she said. Meaning?
Caleb's voice sharpened, carrying a commanding edge. You'll have a guard with you the entire time. That's not up for discussion.
Maya looks at him, jaw tight. She doesn't argue. Just turns and walks off. Caleb watches her leave, eyes narrowing slightly. Maya looks at him, jaw tight. She doesn't argue. Just turns and walks away toward the hall.
Caleb watches her leave, towel in hand, silent. His eyes following her with a flicker of something unreadable. And after all that...she still has the fire she had before.
Caleb's Study Room, Caleb stands tall, serious. A guard waits in front of him. She's going out. You follow her. Stay close — every second. Caleb's gaze sharp. But keep it quiet. No obvious weapons. Hide your gun. She can't know she's being watched. Understood. Caleb turns away, tension in his shoulders.
20-30 minutes later. Suddenly, the door to the study bursts open. Henrik rushes in, slightly out of breath. Boss!
Caleb looks up instantly, alert. Henrik holds a few printed photos and documents. What is it?
Henrik's jaw tightened, his eyes serious as he faced Caleb. The masked man. We connected the dots — the footage, the explosion, the hospital…
Henrik sets down several surveillance photos on the table - including one from the hospital, one from outside the explosion site, and the latest CCTV capture. He's not targeting you.
Caleb leans in, scanning the evidence. Something clicks in his eyes. It's not me, Then who? Henrik looks directly at him, serious and urgent. He's after Maya. He's been following her for weeks — maybe longer
Caleb freezes. The weight of that sentence hits him. Caleb's eyes widen. His breath catches. Without hesitation, Caleb throws his coat aside and bolts for the door.
Henrik catches up, grabs Caleb's arm to stop him briefly. Henrik got concerned, Boss, wait! What's going on?
A surge of panic ran through him. He hadn't realized the danger. I made a mistake, Caleb muttered, voice sharp. I let her go outside… I didn't know. This is wrong. I have to go. I have to protect her.
Caleb pulls his arm free and sprints down the hallway. Caleb bursts outside, heading for his waiting car. Henrik follows quickly, shouting orders to the nearby guards. Get the cars ready! Now!
Caleb jumps into the driver's seat of a sleek black car. Henrik slides into the passenger seat of the second car, heavily armed guards already inside. A third car, filled with more guards, revs up and follows.
All three cars speed off into the night — the hunt for Maya has begun.
Inside the park, Wide shot of Maya walking slowly through a quiet park, surrounded by tall trees and soft evening light. Maya's eyes lifted toward the sky, a rare, peaceful moment. Just a few minutes... fresh air... freedom.
The guard walks a few steps behind her, alert but discreet. From the shadows, a man wearing a dark hoodie with the hood pulled low and a cap obscuring his face steps forward.
The guard immediately reacts, pulling his own gun, stepping protectively in front of Maya. Guard shout, Stay back!
The villain fires — a sharp, deafening gunshot. The guard's eyes widen in shock as he's hit.
The guard's voice came out in a strained whisper, blood trickling from his side. No...! The guard reaches for his gun again, but the villain is faster, firing a second shot, killing him.
On the other hand Maya's horrified face as she witnesses the guard's fall. Her mind is racing. No... no... this can't be happening...
The villain smirks beneath the shadows of his hood, his eyes cold and calculating. He moved closer, each step deliberate and threatening. His voice was a low growl. You're coming with me now.
Maya tries to back away but is grabbed roughly. The villain drags Maya toward a waiting black car.
Maya glances back once — fear and shock frozen in her eyes. The car speeds away, leaving the darkening park behind
Caleb grips the steering wheel tightly, eyes sharp, car speeding fiercely through the night. I won't let him take her.
Inside the villain's car — Maya sits terrified, clutching her arms, eyes wide. Maya's voice trembling, Why... why did you take me? What do you want?
Villain leans closer, face partly shadowed under his hood. Villain with cold tune, Your father... he killed my family. Now, I'm taking my revenge.
Maya's face pales in shock. My father? But... how? He's already dead... I don't understand.
The villain's eyes narrow, distracted by her words. Suddenly, the villain's car swerves violently, crashing into a barrier. Smoke and sparks fly as the car spins out of control.
Caleb Arrived at the Park, Three black cars screech to a halt at the park entrance, guards pouring out. Caleb steps out, eyes immediately locking onto a lone guard lying motionless on the ground, blood pooling beneath him. Caleb saw the guard.… he's dead.
Caleb's jaw tightens, frustration and fear mixing. Without hesitation, Caleb climbs back into his car, slamming the door shut. Caleb's car roars back onto the road, speeding wildly through the park's winding paths. And on the way he saw a car.
Up ahead, Caleb's eyes widen in shock — a car flipped upside down, thick smoke rising. Caleb throws the steering wheel hard, skids to a stop.
He jumps out, adrenaline pumping, and runs toward the smoking wreck. Caleb peers inside the overturned car — it's empty.
Caleb's eyes scan the nearby area rapidly, his breathing heavy, heart pounding. Maya! Where are you?!
He notices a trail of blood drops leading away from the crash site. Caleb kneels to examine the bloodstains, eyes fierce and determined.
He stands abruptly, looking toward the direction of the blood trail. He spoke with a grim tone, yet a surge of relief washed over him. She's still alive... I'm coming.
Caleb is running down the road, his coat flying behind him, eyes fixed on the trail of blood. Behind him, Henrik and a few guards follow, trying to catch up, but Caleb is far ahead.
Caleb suddenly slows, his eyes shifting to the side — a movement catches his attention beneath the bridge. He saw a shadowed figure standing at the lower edge of the bridge, gripping a girl's arm — it's Maya. Caleb's eyes freeze in pure shock.
Maya...?
The villain, hoodie partially revealing his face, looks over his shoulder — smirking directly at Caleb. Caleb starts running — full speed, no hesitation.
Caleb shout, Don't you dare touch her!
Maya, weak, blood trickling from her forehead. She can barely stand, barely breathe. Her head lifts slowly — eyes locking onto Caleb's from across the distance. Tears stream down her cheeks.
Maya's eyes terrified, in pain, but full of hope. Caleb is almost there, feet pounding the ground, breath ragged.
The villain glances down at Maya... and then shoves her backward — straight into the water below.
Caleb reaches out as if he can stop it — too far away.
For a heartbeat, everything froze. Maya plunged into the water, and Caleb couldn't move, couldn't breathe—his mind blank with horror.
Caleb's voice shattered the silence. NOOO—!! he yelled, heart pounding, rage and panic fueling every word.
