"I'm not a homewrecker!" Stella shouted at the crowd gathered around, "All of you, shut up!"
"Can't admit to being a homewrecker, huh? Just like a mad dog!" someone in the crowd jeered.
People love gossip, and Stella's outburst only fueled the chatter around her.
"You think no one knows what you've done? Just because you say you're not, doesn't make it true," Crystal Foster sneered, watching Stella with a smirk. Stella turned to meet Crystal's gaze, and her hatred flared.
"Sylvia Byrne, it's all your fault. You did this on purpose. So what if I'm a homewrecker? Aren't you doing the same thing now? What's the difference between us?" Stella spat, her anger directed at Crystal. "You're no saint either."
Crystal laughed, covering her mouth, "Stella, anyone can throw around accusations. Keep running your mouth, and I'll call the police for defamation."
