Chapter 164 - Eliminate doubt

Crystal Foster hadn't reached out to Daisy Sanchez since the day they parted ways. It was as if Daisy had vanished from her life, not appearing for a long time. The messages Crystal sent went unanswered, disappearing into the void. Oddly enough, this gave Crystal a sense of relief. Martin Riley had been right; Daisy, being a psychologist, was incredibly skilled at reading subtle human expressions. If Crystal slipped up in front of her, the consequences could be disastrous.

What Crystal didn't know was that Daisy had a huge argument with Alex Elliott that night, leading to their separation and days without contact. Daisy couldn't remember how many days she'd been cooped up at home, wandering her room like a zombie. Every time she closed her eyes, Sylvia Byrne and Alex Elliott haunted her like a persistent nightmare.
