"I know I've changed a lot over the years. If I were in your shoes, I'd probably have doubts too," Crystal Foster said calmly. After she spoke, she noticed Alex Elliott shaking his head at her.
"I'm sorry, Sylvia. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have doubted you," Alex stammered, clearly flustered. "I shouldn't have listened to..."
Crystal shook her head slightly. "Anyone would have doubts in this situation. I'm not blaming you. Also, I honestly don't remember what Daisy mentioned."
At that moment, Alex completely believed everything Crystal said.
"Sylvia, it was my mistake. I shouldn't have doubted you. I promise it won't happen again!"
They decided not to confront Daisy Sanchez because they both understood that meeting Crystal was merely a test.
As they parted, Crystal stood across from Alex, smiling gently at him.
"I can tell Daisy really likes you. I hope you don't miss out on someone special. I'm heading back now. Goodbye."
