Chapter 172 - Life isn't fair

During the busy afternoon, Martin Riley stayed by Crystal Foster's side. She wore a stethoscope around her neck and a white coat, talking to the patients. The setting sun cast a gentle glow on her, making her look like an angel bathed in sunlight, exuding a sacred yet tender aura.

Perhaps it was because Martin was there, but Crystal seemed particularly energetic all afternoon. By dinner time, she was still excited and chatted with Martin a lot.

"Aren't you going home today? What about Otto?" she asked.

"I'll be staying here with you for the next few days," Martin replied. "Henry is at home taking care of Otto, and the nanny is there too. You don't need to worry."

Crystal frowned, "Otto is still young. How can you leave him at home alone? Even with Henry and the nanny, it's not the same. Maybe you should go back tomorrow. You know Otto wasn't happy when I left."
