Marvin Mitchell didn't look too happy either. "Don't you think this whole thing is strange?"
Why would Philip Allen suddenly start investigating out of nowhere? He must have discovered something.
But both Martin Riley and Crystal Foster had been deliberately avoiding Philip recently. So what went wrong to make Philip suspicious?
Marvin and Martin were both baffled.
However, they didn't quite see eye to eye on how to handle the situation.
"I think we need to tell Crystal. After all, she's directly involved. She needs to be aware so she can protect herself. You can't keep her in the dark forever. If she finds out on her own like last time, don't expect me to cover for you again."
Marvin understood Martin's concerns but didn't agree with his approach.
"I know what you're worried about, but you have to realize Philip Allen isn't just anyone. If he's started investigating, he definitely suspects something. We have to tell Crystal so she can be careful."
