"Pleased to meet you, Lord Leviathan. I am Arthas, a Pawn of the Gremory family."
Arthas delivered this introduction with a calm and collected demeanor, as if he hadn't just been holding a young woman's hand.
Souna's sister, Serafall, raised an eyebrow, her expression turning grim.
"You're arrogant, Pawn. Don't think defeating a roasted chicken gives you the right to be smug. The Underworld has many strong young devils; that pleasure-seeking Phenex brat doesn't even rank."
"Oh, really? What does that have to do with me?"
Arthas responded nonchalantly to Serafall's thinly veiled threat, internally questioning her hostility; he hadn't done anything to offend her.
"Sister, what are you doing? Arthas is Rias's familiar, but he also attends Kuoh Academy. It's perfectly normal for classmates to greet and chat."
"Normal?! He was clearly taking advantage of you! He wouldn't let go of your hand!"
Souna said wryly, but Serafall's temper flared, leaving Souna looking helpless.
This was her sister, and Souna couldn't do anything about it. If her sister knew she was living with a man…
The thought made Souna blush involuntarily.
Seeing Souna's embarrassed expression, Serafall seemed to receive a heavy blow, her finger trembling as she pointed at Arthas.
"You… what exactly did you do to my Souna?! Damn it, you're that girl Rias's familiar! Why are you bothering my Souna?!"
"Sister… it's not what you think!"
"Waaah… so quickly you're siding with him, someone else's familiar! Waaah… why do I have such a sister?!"
"Sister, are you trying to make a spectacle of yourself?!"
Even Souna was irritated by her sister's unreasonable outburst. Seeing Souna's genuine anger, Serafall's temper subsided slightly.
It was clear that this slightly scatterbrained Lord Leviathan was quite afraid of her sister.
This is one of the Four Great Satan Kings? Having someone like this as a Satan King… the Underworld's future seems bleak. I wonder what the other three are like.
The banquet finally concluded. Just as Arthas thought he'd be returning to the human world, Rias approached, looking somewhat uneasy, with some news.
Her brother, Sirzechs, Lucifer's successor, wished to meet him.
While surprised, Arthas wasn't entirely unexpected. Grayfia knew about his unique creation from eleven devil pieces; Sirzechs must also be aware.
"Don't be nervous. Although my brother has been Lucifer for a long time, he's actually easy to talk to. He doesn't have the arrogance of a typical Satan King."
Rias, misinterpreting Arthas's quietness as nervousness about meeting a Satan King, offered reassurance.
"Actually, my brother almost made Lord Leviathan cry."
Arthas shrugged, offering a teasing comment. Rias was taken aback.
"Eh… you met Souna's sister?"
"Yeah, well… Souna's sister significantly lowered my opinion of the Four Great Satan Kings."
"Well… Serafall-senpai is just overly protective of Souna. She completely loses it around Souna. In reality, she's a very capable Satan King."
As Rias and Arthas spoke, they arrived at Sirzechs's room. Grayfia opened the door for them; Sirzechs had clearly been waiting.
"First, congratulations on your victory, Pawn."
Sirzechs greeted him with a smile.
"Without a familiar like me, wouldn't you have simply ignored your sister's happiness, letting her marry someone she didn't want?"
To Rias's surprise, Arthas's opening remark was a direct challenge to his brother.
"You don't understand. While I'm one of the Four Great Satan Kings, my position often forces me to consider things from Lucifer's perspective, not as the Gremory family head or Rias's brother."
Sirzechs didn't take offense at Arthas's boldness, only offering a wry, understanding smile. Rias was relieved; her brother's words indicated his acceptance of Arthas as part of the Gremory family.
"At least I know, if the proposal had been for Souna, an enraged Lord Leviathan would have likely crushed that roasted chicken."
Arthas shrugged. Sirzechs chuckled.
"You met Serafall? She's different. She's a woman, and… well, her way of thinking is… unconventional."
"Just say she's got issues, will you?"
"Ahem… that wasn't me. Let's forget that. Let's talk about you, the Pawn reincarnated from eleven devil pieces."
Sirzechs said, and Arthas rubbed his nose.
"Do you understand the significance of eleven pieces, Arthas?"
Sirzechs's serious tone caused Arthas to cease his joking demeanor.
"Unprecedented. Even Lord Beelzebub, the creator of the devil pieces, couldn't comprehend it. My future form, my path… everything is unpredictable."
"Indeed… you seem to understand your own value. Today's battle made you famous throughout the Underworld. That's not necessarily a good thing."
Sirzechs frowned, sighing slightly.
"Fallen Angels and Angels… they wouldn't openly send assassins, would they?"
Arthas shrugged, unconcerned.
"If I recall correctly, it's taboo for the older generation to attack the younger generation. So, what's there to worry about? If it's the younger generation… I'll kill as many as come."
Arthas said calmly, his words radiating unparalleled arrogance and confidence.
