Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening of the Blood Moon

The night was dark and dark clouds were rolling.

Su Yue dragged her tired body out of the library, holding a cup of American coffee that was almost cold. Today was her 23rd birthday, but there was no candlelight dinner, no roses, and not even a blessing.

She looked up at the sky, as if something was pressing on her chest, making it hard to breathe.

"The moon tonight seems a little strange."

She whispered to herself.

The moonlight blocked by the dark clouds faintly revealed a hint of dark red, like a waning moon washed by blood.

Su Yue frowned, but didn't think much about it, and continued to walk towards home.

Just as she walked near the community, a sudden cool breeze blew in her face, and she shuddered violently.

Snap——

The street light above her head went out.

Then, it was the second and third lights, and the whole path seemed to be swallowed up bit by bit by some invisible force, falling into darkness.

Su Yue's heartbeat suddenly accelerated. She subconsciously reached into her bag for her phone, but found that there was no signal.

"Don't panic... maybe there's a line failure." She tried to stay calm, but her pace had already quickened.

As soon as she turned into the alley, she heard a slight sound of footsteps behind her.

One step, two steps...

Every step seemed to step on her heart.

Su Yue turned back suddenly, but there was nothing.

But there was an inexplicable burning sensation on the back of her neck.

The next moment, a black shadow pounced on her like a ghost. Before she could react, she was pressed against the wall, and a fishy and sweet smell came to her face.

"Your blood... smells so good."

It was a low male voice, hoarse, crazy, with some desire that did not belong to humans.

Su Yue's pupils contracted violently, she wanted to scream, but the other party covered her mouth with a cold hand.

Sharp fangs flashed in her ears.

In the blink of an eye——

Boom!

A shadow came through the air and hit the black shadow hard. The black shadow flew backwards and hit the electric pole in the distance, making a sound of broken bones.

Su Yue fell to the ground, trembling all over, but still looked up at the figure that suddenly appeared.

Tall, cold, and exuding a cold aura. The man had his back to her, his figure was so perfect that it was almost unreal, and his short silver-white hair swayed slightly in the night wind, as if it was incompatible with the darkness.

"Get out."

Just one word, low and cold.

The black shadow struggled to get up, revealing bloodshot eyes: "Are you... a werewolf?"

"Killing you is enough."

The next second, a silver light flashed.

The black shadow screamed miserably, and was torn into pieces by a claw shadow in the night wind, turning into ashes and dissipating.

The air returned to silence.

The man slowly turned around and walked towards Su Yue.

Su Yue subconsciously wanted to retreat, but found that she couldn't move at all.

He squatted down and his eyes fell on her neck - there was a fine red mark there, which seemed to be the place where she was almost bitten just now.

His eyes were golden, with a beast-like luster.

"You... have the blood of the origin in your body." He murmured.

Su Yue was stunned: "You... what did you say?"

"Your name is Su Yue?"

She was even more surprised: "How do you know my name?"

The man stared at her for a few seconds, and said in a complicated tone: "It's you."

He stood up, raised his hand and drew a silver mark in the void, as if opening some kind of barrier.

A silver moonlight fell on Su Yue, and she immediately felt a cold force piercing her flesh and blood, and something dormant in her body began to wake up.

"Are you crazy!" She shouted in horror.

The man did not answer, but turned and left, leaving three words: "Don't trust anyone."

The wind was whistling.

He disappeared into the night, as if he had never existed.

Su Yue slumped to the ground, her heart beating like a drum, and the words echoed in her ears——

Original Blood.

She didn't know what this meant, but she knew that her life had changed dramatically tonight.

Late at night, Su Yue finally returned home.

The door was ajar.

She frowned and pushed the door open. The room was empty, and the familiar living room was as cold as an ice cellar.

"Dad?"

No response.

She rushed into the bedroom and turned on the light, but only saw a paper letter.

She opened it tremblingly, and there were only a few lines of words on the paper:

> "Yuer, when you see this letter, I can no longer protect you. Don't trust any vampires, and don't trust werewolves - including the man you met tonight. His name is Xiao Yeche, and he will destroy you."

"The blood in your body is not the blood of ordinary people. Your mother was the last of the fallen royal family... From the moment you were born, they have been eyeing you."

"If you see the moon turn red, don't suppress the power in your body. That is not a curse, but your true bloodline."

"Forgive Dad for not telling you the truth earlier."

The letter in Su Yue's hand slowly burned as her body temperature rose, and finally turned into ashes.

She slowly raised her head and walked to the window.

The dark clouds dissipated, and a blood-red moon hung high in the sky, like an open eye in the sky, looking down coldly at the earth.

Her pupils also turned from black to red at this moment.

It seemed that some seal was broken at this moment -
