Chapter 46 - Chapter Forty-Six — Laying The Groundwork For Revenge (Part 1).

Daniel Shaw stood before the tall floor-to-ceiling window of the CEO office at Shaw Group headquarters while gazing and admiring the view of Baswil City that was spread out in front of his eyes like a map.

Below, Cars moved like tiny dots, and people walking on the streets looked like ants.

He kept his hands behind his back and started humming a soft tune.

The office was wide, clean, and quiet.

The polished desk was smooth and mostly empty except for a desktop and a neat stack of papers that was on one side of the desk.

The air conditioners in the office were in full blast, the interior was luxurious and lavish, and the lights shone brightly across the floor.

When Daniel ended the tune he was humming, he cleared his throat, and without turning, he said, "Micheal Vance, what about the task I gave you?"

Micheal straightened his suit, and with a small smile on his face, he stepped forward.
