"What do you mean you can't find her? Today is her wedding day or have you forgotten who she is getting married to?!" Marcus walked into the room, he was looking at his wife Anna and he could see the tears in her eyes.
"Marcus I have searched the rooms and the whole house, Vivan is nowhere to be found, I think she has run away." Anna was standing there petrified, she was looking at her husband and she knew that he was not even sure what he was going to do.
Marcus stood there, his skin turned pale when he heard his wife say that his daughter had run away.
"We are doomed, Lucien is going to burn us all alive." Marcus fell on his knees, he had lost all the will to even move.
His daughter Vivan was meant to marry Lucien Rosario that day but a few hours ago he was called that Lucien and his family were already at the venue waiting for them to arrive. It was then they decided to call out for Vivan, it turned out that Vivan had run away.
"What are we going to do? Lucien is not going to listen to a thing we are going to tell him. This marriage was meant to be the way out of the debt we owe him! We are doomed Anna," Marcus pulled on his hair, and his wife couldn't control her wailing. It was like they had slowly accepted the fact that they were going to die when Lucien would find out that they had no idea where Vivan ran to.
While both of them wailed, a lady in a wedding dress walked into the room. She had beautiful white hair running down her back, she stopped by the door.
"Uncle M," She called out trying to get Marcus' attention, Marcus and Anna looked up. Both of them were starstruck when they saw who was standing by the door.
"Lily? What in the world are you doing?" Marcus asked when he looked at his niece, he was not sure what was going on but he needed to hear what she had in mind.
"Uncle, we all know that Lucien has not seen Vivan before and we know that he would stop at nothing to make sure that you pay for standing him up on the day he was meant to get married to her." Lily was looking at her uncle, she sounded a bit quiet.
Realizing what his niece was planning, he was gripped with fear. He began stuttering a bit, "No no Lily, I swore on my late brother's grave that I won't let anything happen to you, you should be thinking of a way to get out of here. It's us that he would want to take out but there is no way he would hurt y-"
"Uncle," Lily walked up to her uncle, she knelt and held his hands. "You have been taking care of me since I lost my dad, you even helped send me to college. So let me do this one thing and make sure that nothing is going to happen to any of you,"
"But Lily that man is the devil himself, he would make your life miserable," Anna chimed in, she didn't want anything like that to happen to Lily either knowing what was going to happen.
Lily smiled when she looked at Anna, "It will be a small price to pay, so please let's argue about this. They are waiting for us to arrive there at any moment,"
Lily was ready to make sure that nothing was going to keep her uncle worried like that.
Marcus and Anna looked at each other, they knew there was no way they would be able to do anything to make Lily change her mind. She was one hard nut to crack.
"I will never forget what you are doing for us today Lily, I will make sure that one day I will be able to repay you for all you have done for us." Marcus was looking at her, tears in his eyes and he was sure that there was no way he would be able to even think of anything to pay Lily with.
Three of them got up and walked out of the room heading for the car, they weren't going to waste time there.

At the venue of the wedding the Rosario family were waiting for Marcus and his family to arrive, everyone began to murmur when they didn't see them.
"It's getting quite late, are you sure they haven't chickened out?" Eric turned to look at his grandmother, he wanted to know what the family head would say.
"Honestly it is looking more like a circus here than a wedding, Lucien seems rather unbothered" Agnes spoke up, she was looking at her cousin who seemed unbothered by the whole situation and it was like he was waiting for them to arrive.
"Lucien is waiting for them to come so why don't we do the same? But this time a bit quiet, I wouldn't want the guests to think I am training animals." Granny Ophelia tried to calm them down, she was not happy that the Forgers were coming late but she needed to make sure that her family was in order.
Lucien was looking at the watch on his wrist, he had an unfazed gaze on his face. He didn't cause any problem, he looked up a bit with the same emotionless look on his face.
"Lucien let's face it, they might not be coming and there is a chance that they have fled the city. Should I mobilize the men to check for them?" Aaron said looking at his boss, he was not sure what he was going to say but then he wanted to be on the same page with him.
Lucien stopped looking at the watch and then looked at Aaron with a smirk on his face.
"We wait a bit, Aaron," Lucien didn't want to cause unnecessary trouble, he was trying to see if they would pop up any moment like that.
Everyone at the Rosario family was surprised to hear that Lucien was ready to wait for the Forgers, it was like he wanted to go through with the wedding. But then everyone thought they were not going to see them show up.
Even the guests began murmuring, it was like a show in front of them, they were not sure what was going to happen. Lucien shot gazes at them, and immediately the room went silent he was not a fan of noise and no one wanted to make the dark prince of the city mad.
Soon enough they heard cars pull up in front of the venue, everyone turned to see who it was everyone except Lucien, he had a smile on his face as he got up and walked up to the altar.
"Well now, it's time to get married." He said with a smile on his face.
