Chapter 1 - "THE GREDY KING"

In the sweltering city of Baghdad, a young boy named Abdul Rehman lived a life marked by tragedy. His father's health had been declining for months, and the weight of impending loss hung heavy in the air. One day, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ancient city, his father called him to his bedside. With trembling hands, he handed Abdul Rehman a small, intricately carved box.

Whenever darkness closes in around you, and the world seems too much to bear, open this box, his father whispered, his voice laced with a mixture of love, hope, and desperation.

Abdul Rehman's eyes welled up with tears as he took the box, feeling the weight of his father's words settle upon him. He had never known his mother, who had passed away in childbirth, leaving him with a void that seemed impossible to fill. Now, as he gazed at his frail father, he felt the crushing weight of loneliness bearing down on him.

Days turned into weeks, and his father's condition worsened. The inevitable became reality, and Abdul Rehman's world was shattered. His father was gone, leaving him alone, adrift in a sea of grief. The box, once a symbol of hope, now seemed like a bittersweet reminder of the love and guidance he would never receive again.

The sun beat down upon the bustling streets of Baghdad as Abdul Rehman sat in the quiet comfort of his home. The sound of drums echoed through the city, signaling the king's imminent speech. Abdul Rehman's eyes narrowed, his curiosity piqued.

In the grand square, King Khalid ibn Amir stood atop a majestic throne, his gaze sweeping across the sea of expectant faces. His voice boomed, ;Hear me, people of Baghdad! From this day forward, I, King Khalid ibn Amir, shall control the trade route to Kabul. Only I and my trusted advisor, Abdullah, know the secrets of this route.

The crowd held its collective breath as the king's words hung in the air like a promise. ;I shall provide goods at rates so low, you shall prosper beyond your wildest dreams. But there is a condition: only my chosen soldiers, including a horse caretaker, and Abdullah shall accompany traders on this journey;

The king's eyes scanned the crowd, his gaze lingering on Abdul Rehman Ibn Ali Baba. ;I have chosen Abdul Rehman, son of the esteemed Ali Baba, to care for the horses on this journey. His father's loyalty and service to our kingdom are well-known, and the son's love for horses is unmatched.

The crowd remained silent, each face a mask of contemplation. The king's voice rose, ;If anyone believes they can surpass Abdul Rehman's skills, let them step forward and prove themselves. Otherwise, let us proceed.

The silence was palpable, heavy with the weight of the king's words. No one dared to challenge the king's decision. With a nod, King Khalid ibn Amir declared, Then it is settled. The test for potential soldiers shall be held tomorrow, and in two days, Abdullah shall depart on his journey. Those interested in trading, meet with Abdullah to finalize the details.

As the king's speech concluded, the crowd dispersed, each person lost in their thoughts. Abdul Rehman, meanwhile, felt a sense of pride and responsibility wash over him. He knew that this journey would be a test of his abilities, and he was determined to prove himself worthy.
