The man's lips trembled. His chest rose and fell in shallow breaths. Blood stained his teeth as he lifted a shaky hand—
And pointed straight at Kyan.
Everyone turned.
The Don's eyes narrowed. Nico's mother covered her mouth. The brothers went still.
"That's him," the man rasped, voice barely holding together. "He's the reason. He planned it all—he sent those pirates. He's been playing you. Acting innocent. But it was him. He wanted Nico dead."
A gasp echoed through the grand hall.
Kyan's heart stopped.
"No way…" one of the cousins muttered.
Then someone shouted from the corner, "I always knew it!"
Voices erupted. People backing away. Guards stepping closer. Tension thick as smoke.
Kyan stood frozen.
He didn't even try to speak.
He just looked at Nico.
Nico blinked slow, like the light hurt. His body was sore, weak—but he could hear everything.
He turned his head… just enough to see the bruised man pointing at Kyan.
Nico frowned. Confused. "Kyan…?"
