Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 "Chains of the Forsaken"

In the ruins of the mine, Alyssa stabbed the Eclipse Dagger into the ground.

Isabella's body curled up into charcoal in the fire of the lunar eclipse, and the banquet hall fell into deathly silence.

"Traitor!" Victor pointed his sword at Alyssa, but his sleeves trembled slightly - he recognized the blue flame, it was the nightmare that burned his right eye in his previous life. Kane's cloak suddenly wrapped around Alyssa's waist and pulled her into the secret passage in the shadows.

Blue fire rushed along the mineral veins, melting all the wreckage of the experimental chamber. When the ashes rose into wolf-shaped smoke, the surviving hybrids knelt on the ground. Lucas laid the blood-stained clan flag at her feet: "It's time to crown you, Queen of Ashes."

"Have you had enough fun?" His fangs pressed against her throbbing carotid artery, "Your flames are devouring yourself." Blue blood was oozing from Alyssa's fingertips, and blood vessels under her skin spread like cracked porcelain. In her previous life, she had never lived to the stage of power backlash, and only now did she understand the price of the power of the lunar eclipse.

Cain threw the Blood Wolf Clan emblem into the fire: "The crown is not worthy of you." He bit his fingertips and drew a blood moon totem on her forehead, "You must be a godslayer who tears apart gods."

In the Hall of Mirrors at the end of the secret passage, Kane slit his wrist: "Drink it." His blood exuded a strange aroma of rust and cedar, "Unless you want to turn into a human torch." When the cold liquid slid into her throat, Alyssa's pupils suddenly contracted - in her blood illusion, she saw Kane with an iron chain piercing his collarbone and imprisoned in a vampire dungeon.

Amid the cheers, Alyssa's fingertips suddenly pierced Kane's chest. Under the horrified gaze of the crowd, she slowly pulled her hand away - in her palm was a beating vampire heart wrapped in metal wires. "This scene," she crushed the heart, letting the blue fire devour the mechanical wreckage, "I want to direct the ending myself."

(Alyssa's blue blood seeps into the mirror, forming a wolf mother totem)

A mine riot broke out before dawn.

Sylvia wore a Silver Wolf guard mask, and at the moment her claws cut the ropes of the sentry tower, Grayson detonated the sulfur warehouse. Alyssa stood on the collapsed watchtower, and the Eclipse Fire turned into a giant wolf and pounced on the Silver Wolf elite.

"Leave him alive!" Lucas's roar was drowned by the explosion. When the flames were about to engulf the last soldier, Kane's cloak swept over like a black wing, and he extinguished the blue flame with his bare hands. "Mercy will kill you." He crushed the soldier's throat and threw the bloody list at Alyssa's feet.

On the seventh page of the list was her portrait, with the following words: "Experimental Subject No. VII, Lunar Eclipse Carrier, Clearance Progress 100%". On the edge of the yellowed page were Isabella's fingerprints and Victor's signature. Alyssa's flames exploded out of control, but strangely became docile when they touched Kane.

"Do you feel it?" He held her burning hand and pressed it to his heart. "Our blood... resonates."

(Kane's heartbeat is in sync with the flickering of the flames)

The war drums of the Blood Wolf Clan shattered the night sky over the mine.

Sylvia tore off her disguise, and the hermaphrodite's body glowed silver in the moonlight. Her sharp claws pierced through the chest of the Silver Wolf Priest, and the heart she pulled out was full of metal tubes: "These bastards implanted vampire technology into their compatriots!"

Alyssa crushed the beating heart, and the mechanical components sparked on the soles of her boots. When she raised the dagger fragment to completely destroy the laboratory, Kane suddenly grabbed her wrist: "Wait." His fingertips brushed across the bat emblem on the console and entered a string of codes - the vampire language on the inside of the ring.

The holographic projection suddenly lit up, showing hundreds of incubators. In each of them floated a girl who looked like Alyssa, with a crescent birthmark on her neck. Incubator No. VII was empty, with the words "The Final Qualified One Has Awakened" engraved on the wall.

"Welcome home, No. VII." Victor's voice came from the loudspeaker. The laboratory suddenly activated the self-destruction program, and Kane hugged Alyssa and broke through the glass dome. At the moment of falling, she saw Sylvia's claws piercing her abdomen - in order to remove the implanted tracking chip.

(Blue blood oozes from Sylvia's wound)
