Ryuzaki's fingers wrapped around Blazar's wrist like iron chains. His violet eyes burned as he stared at Vesper across the dining hall table.
"He's not going anywhere." The words fell from his lips like a royal decree, each syllable sharp and final.
Vesper's crimson eyes danced with mischief. A slow smile spread across his face, sweet as honey but twice as dangerous. He leaned forward, resting his chin on his palm.
"Oh, Ryuzaki~" His voice dripping with playful menace. "You're being so difficult today. Don't be so possessive. I just want to borrow him for a little while."
Heat rushed to Blazar's cheeks. She clenched her jaw, fighting the urge to scream at both of them.
Here they were, talking about her like she was some prize to be won or lost.
Vesper's fingers traced lazy patterns on the table before disappearing into his coat. When they emerged, they held something that made Ryuzaki's eyes pop out.
The Moonflood Katana.
