In the national transmigration, Yang Yi, as one of the players, has no choice but to dive into this national maritime survival game. Some lucky ones obtain special ships: - Take the well-equipped Iron Ambition for example, - Or the wind-breaking and incredibly swift Gale, - And the Iron Head renowned for its massive ram, charging ahead fearlessly. However, Yang Yi's ship, named Nightmare, is a mysterious ghost ship. With Cthulhu elements, the protagonist in the story won't lead a comfortable life. This is neither a vacation in another world nor a light-hearted tale.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The National Maritime Survival Game

"Welcome to the National Maritime Survival Game..."

"Next, you will spend the rest of your lives at sea..."

"Don't worry if you have diseases or disabilities. This system will cure you all and give you a relatively fair starting point..."

"You can sail freely on the sea and do everything you desire..."

"Whether you become an unknown pawn or a world - famous figure, it all depends on yourself..."

"The sea will offer infinite possibilities, and there's only one thing you need to note."

"Keep moving forward and don't let the black fog behind catch up with you."

"The current speed of the black fog is ten knots!"

...

A strange voice rang in his mind.

Yang Yi woke up and found himself lying on an old - fashioned bed.

He tried to get up but was choked into coughing by the dust he stirred.

Looking around, he found himself in a narrow and dim - lit dilapidated house.

Not far away, there was a table with a dried - up skeleton lying on it. The skeleton's left hand still held a rusty flintlock pistol, and most of its skull was missing, seemingly a suicide.

"What is this...?"

Yang Yi didn't show fear. Instead, he looked at his emaciated hands.

It was simply a miracle that he could stand up!

Just minutes ago, Yang Yi was a bed - ridden patient, but now he'd miraculously regained health!

At twelve, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. By twenty, he was completely paralyzed.

However, he didn't give up on life. He'd been playing games and live - streaming with his mouth, supporting himself with earned money until twenty - five.

He often played horror games and didn't react much to immobile skeleton corpses.

"What that voice said... is true!" Yang Yi murmured to himself and looked out the window.

There was an endless expanse of the sea, with waves surging from time to time.

Meanwhile, the strange voice rang again, its gender indistinguishable.

"Everyone should know where they are now!"

"That's right! You're all at sea, over five hundred nautical miles apart. You won't meet in a short time."

"There should be a small booklet near you, called the Navigation Log."

"It has many useful functions for barrier - free communication. Just try it and you'll know."

"As for other content, it will be announced in the form of bulletins later. Stay tuned..."

The voice faded.

Yang Yi looked down and immediately saw the small booklet on the bed, with "Navigation Log" written on it—black - covered, palm - sized.

It constantly emitted a faint light, as if urging Yang Yi to open it.

Yang Yi picked it up and opened it. The first page listed the rules.

[1. Without permission, others cannot board your ship.]

[2. Items on your ship won't be stolen by other players unless you die.]

[3. Each ship is equipped with a grappling hook of infinite durability. Boldly grab floating items!]

[4. You need to upgrade and strengthen your ship to make it look secure enough.]

[5. Be cautious at night and watch out for fog. Once trapped in the black fog behind, you will die.]

[6. This manual is soul - bound and can be browsed in your mind.]

[7. At sea, you'll never feel lonely.]

The booklet felt like skin. Yang Yi flipped through it.

The second page was about the day's weather, which he skipped for now.

The third page was status information.

After checking the attribute interface, Yang Yi felt more at ease.

Low - level attributes required little experience, so it wouldn't be too hard for him to improve.

He continued flipping and found the chat channel.

It was divided into World Chat, Region Chat, and Private Chat.

Currently, the World Channel was the liveliest, with people speaking one after another.

"Is there anyone here?"

"Is there anyone here?"

"What on earth is happening?"

"I was just pooping and hadn't wiped my ass yet, and in a blink, I'm on this ship!"

"I'm the only one here. Does anyone have a phone? Call the police for me!"

"Who kidnapped me? Do you know who my dad is?"

"Maybe your dad is here too!"

"Son, is that you?"

"Don't misidentify!"

"My broken hand is actually healed..."

"I can feel pain... This isn't a dream!"

...

Billions were online. It was estimated everyone had been pulled in.

Yang Yi didn't rush to speak. Instead, he read chat messages to gather p
