Chapter 6 - THE FALL OUT OF ME AND ASMODEUS

"This is another rare basic church spell. It's called holy binding. This church spell can't be reflected too, so if you get caught in this church spell, you should say: Holy binding, break now."

I realized that Asmodeus was looking too excited, so I picked Mammon to test out this spell.

"Mammon would you be kind to test this out? This spell won't hurt you." I asked.

"Sure," Mammon replied.

"Wait what?! You're testing the stronger spells on me and treating me like a ragdoll, but you're testing the easier spell on him!" Asmodeus shouted.

Duh, isn't that obvious?

"Anyway, Mammon, just stand there and don't move," I ordered.

"Ok, Tsukiko,." Mammon replied.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" She shouted.

After I chanted the binding church spell, a white rope tied up Mammon's hands, arms, legs, and feet.

"Holy binding, break now!" Mammon shouted.

All the devil kings except Asmodeus applauded Mammon for breaking out of the binding spell.

"Why are y'all clapping for him?! I took multiple direct blasts by Tsukiko, and none of you clapped for me!" She shouted.

"The reason why we're doing it for Mammon because he volunteered to do it. You're doing it because of punishment." Belphegor laughed.

"Punishment? What did I do to get punished?!" She yelled.

Belphegor sighed, "I told you since the moment Tsukiko joined us not to anger him, but did you listen? No. So stop complaining and take your punishment."

"But I told him I'm sorry, so why am I still getting punished?"

"You're lucky you're not dead, so suck up and take your punishment like a true devil king." Satan chimed in.

"Anyway, this rare basic church spell is called holy slip. It can't be reflected also, but if you're caught in this, you should say: holy slip, dry up now." I uttered. "Asmodeus, will you try to dry up this church spell?" I asked.

Satan had a flashback about the fight he had with the hero whose name is Leo.

"I remember this spell, one of the church heroes used it on me, luckily, I can fly; if I couldn't, I would be dead that day," Satan mumbled.

"Holy slip!" I shouted.

"Holy slip, dry up now!" She shouted but nothing happened.

The reason why nothing happened is that I told her the wrong chant.

"Huh, holy slip, dry up now!"

She continued to call the wrong chant in an attempt to counteract the rare basic church spell.

"Tsukiko, the spell isn't working! I can't stop falling to the ground!" She yelled.

"Oh, that's because I told you the wrong chant to cancel out the spell."

"Wait what! Tell me the right chant to cancel out the spell, I'm tired of falling on my face." She replied.

"Nope, I will tell you the right chant when I'm satisfied."

"What do you mean by satisfied?!" She yelled while falling down again.

After a few more times, she fell to the ground. I got bored and told her the right chant.

Following my instructions on the right chant to stop the rare basic church spell, I ended the training for today.

"Tsukiko, you're a jerk! You enjoy seeing me in pain! Why do you hate me?!" She asked.

"Quit nagging me, training's over now so let's get something to eat," I replied.

"No. I'm not moving until you answer my question. Why do you hate me so much? I took you in when none of the other wanted to take you as their apprentice because they are all terrified of you." She muttered.

"After taking you in, I realized that you're lonely because everyone here is scared of you and doesn't want to be around you for a long period of time."

"I try my best to stay around you to make you feel better, but what did you do? Hurt me, blast strong spells at me, and lied to me. Tsukiko I only want to make it clear that we are friends, but I guess you don't see me as that." She cried.

I don't know what happened to me, but the anger I had in me finally overflowed, and I snapped.

"Do you think I wanted to be your apprentice? I only became your apprentice because Belphegor asked me to be your apprentice for the reason that you're in charge of the troops' training, and he wanted me to help train the troops!" I yelled.

Asmodeus fell to her knees; crying her eyes out.

"You're saying I hate you, but I think I do hate you. You're a self-absorbed cunt who thinks she can order people around; doing your work because you're in charge!" I shouted.

"I hate people like that. Who do you think you're ordering me around; nagging me if I don't do what you ordered me to do? If we were never allies, I would've killed you when I realized your true self." I uttered.

She got up, grabbed my shirt, and hit me across the face.

"Tsukiko, you're calling me a self-absorbed, but you're the only self-absorbed one here. You think just because you're the strongest one here, you can use your power to scare us into doing anything you want us to do!" She screamed.

"You know what, you're saying the only reason why you're my apprentice is because Belphegor asked you to help me train the troops? You can have the troops and forget about being my apprentice and never talk to me again!" She yelled while running away.

"Fine by me!" I yelled.

After that argument, Asmodeus isn't the same again. Every day when I'm training the troops and the devil kings, she never shows up to train, and after the training ends, she never shows up to eat dinner.

The only time I saw her was in the mornings when I went to train the troops. I saw her coming from Lucifer's training grounds, sweaty and tired.

Each day when we don't talk to each other, I feel a sharp pain in my heart that my auto pain nullification can't stop. But one day everything changed. It was like any other day; I woke up, trained the troops, and so on, but during training, we heard an announcement on the pr that a group of church crusaders was approaching us and all of them were equipped with low-class holy swords.

"Everyone, training is over for today. Get ready for combat!" I yelled.

As we were about to get ready for combat, we heard screaming coming from inside the castle.

"That was Asmodeus. Tsukiko, go quickly to see what's happening!" Satan shouted.

I used "Flashstep" to quickly go to where I heard the commotion, and there I saw Asmodeus badly wounded on the floor, covered in her own blood.

"Huh, is that you Tsukiko? What are you doing here? Don't tell me.... So you're siding with the devils because we exiled you. Michael is going to love to hear this." Kira laughed.

"Do you think you're going to get the chance to leave from here?" I replied.

Kira chuckled, "We'll see about that."

The bastard whose name is Kira Natsumi. He's a part of one of the other hero peerages. Each hero, except me, had a peerage to protect themselves from a wide range of attacks or an ambush.

"Aoe reverse grace healing!" I shouted to heal Asmodeus.

Asmodeus sighed, "You know I didn't ask to heal me, right? So why did you?"

"Shut up and get away from here now that you're healed," I replied.

"Don't order me around you jerk, and remember, I'm not talking to you." She responded.

"I don't care about that now, the only thing I care about is your safety. So go now!" I yelled.

Asmodeus' face blushed as red as a tomato and smiled.

"O-o-ok, fine, I'm going to go because I wanted to!" She yelled. "And I never needed you to save me." She blushed.

After Asmodeus left, Belphegor and the other devil kings appeared.

Kira laughed, "Finally, my targets show themselves! Now we can get rid of them, right, Liam?" Kira said.
