Jin looks up, surprised at the knife gripped into Ashton's hand. Jin opens his mouth to speak, but raises an every now instead, itching to ask Ashron what the fuck was that response for, but he quickly shuts his mouth. He's left eyeing Ashton instead, blinking once, twice, thrice at his strained expression as he focuses his eyes on the ingredients on the counter.
Ashton sighs, letting out a soft huff as he continues in his task, noticeably avoiding Jin's raised eyebrow as he continues his work.
"I don't need to right now." Ashton mutters, and that's all else he says.
Jin frowns, tilting his head and squinting his eyes as he focused on Ashton finishing up his task.
"You don't wanna know?" Jin asked, slowly looking from the harsh chopping on the cutting board to Ashton's hardened face. "How your folks are doing? Family?"
