Chapter 18 - Chapter 16: The Duel of Fates and Realities

The two realities overlapped.

Existence became a stage too unstable for gods, too complex for logic. Only the Above All and their kind could exist within it without disintegrating.

Cal, holding the Orderbrand, pointed it at Anu.

"Reality's foundation won't survive this paradox. One truth must die."

Sul, standing by his side, wove a soul-path formation around them, pulling threads from ten thousand fates to reinforce their stance in both realities.

Moac, her body glowing with the flames of celestial heartblood, chanted the Song of Axis, stabilizing their footing within the fractured dimension.

And Anu, the Crown of Chosen Supremacy blazing atop his brow, welcomed them with arms spread wide.

"Let the gods of obedience come.

Let those bound by order try their blades.

I—the Free One—will not bow."

---

The Opening Blow

Cal struck first.

His sword invoked the Nine-Colored Divine Tribulation, combining:

Life Law

Death Law

Fire

Water

Earth

Wood

Wind

Light

Darkness

A colossal torrent of elements raged at Anu.

Anu responded with a sweep of his hand.

"Return to Origin."

Time folded.

Every element dissolved.

Reality twisted.

---

Sul cried out, unleashing her Soul Path of Reversal, binding Anu's spiritual core for a flicker of a moment.

Moac pounced in that heartbeat, her celestial body glowing like a star gone supernova. She drove her astral blade into Anu's ribs.

"Now, Cal!"

Cal dove down from above, blade raised, ready to split the dual-realities with the Judgment Slash of All Laws.

But Anu, smiling, let the blade land.

It cut him.

Blood spilled.

But his body glowed brighter.

"Every pain suffered… is another truth earned."

He grasped Cal's wrist.

"You three fight for a god who no longer holds the belief of the multiverse."

Then with a surge of karma, he hurled Cal across the planes.
