Chapter 254: Time to Contribute Your Happy and Joyful Memories
The chains condensed from black smoke dispersed.
Sean looked at Fenrir's corpse that had fallen to the ground, casually released a magical flame, and burned Fenrir's body to ashes.
Then Sean turned and rushed toward the direction where the Dementors were gathering.
During his run, Sean opened his panel to check his gains.
The abilities given by those wild wolves and werewolves earlier didn't surprise Sean. They were still the same things as before. However, Sean's Wolf's Keenness had been upgraded to LV3, while Wolf's Swiftness had been upgraded to LV4. Now his agility and speed had improved to quite an outstanding degree. Now, when facing those werewolves again, relying purely on Sean's own strength and agile speed, he could completely punch their heads off one by one without getting injured.
Scrolling to the bottom of the panel notifications.
Sean checked the abilities Fenrir had given him.
As they say, single draws create miracles.
As expected, very generous!

[New Skill Acquired: Canine Beast Manipulation LV3]
[New Skill Acquired: Child of the Dark Night LV2]
[New Talent Acquired: Moonlight Blessing LV3]
Two skills and one talent. This was Fenrir's surprise for Sean.
Canine Beast Manipulation was self-explanatory. It allowed Sean to control canine animals. As for the talent ability Moonlight Blessing, it could grant Sean enhancement from darkness and moonlight during nighttime, with the weakest enhancement on dark nights when the moon was obscured and the strongest enhancement during unobscured full moons.
According to the panel's indication, the enhancement direction was dual. Both Sean's physical qualities and magical power. However, Sean wasn't certain about the degree of enhancement currently. Additionally, it should be noted that Moonlight Blessing provided weaker enhancement for positive white magic but stronger enhancement for negative dark magic.
There was a legend here.
Dark magic itself originated from ancient times, and the name "dark magic" came from the black continent where ancient magic was first discovered. Connecting to this legend, werewolves were also said to first appear in those ancient lands. The Moonlight Blessing obtained from werewolves mainly enhanced dark magic, which also supposedly originated from ancient times according to legend. This was logical.
Finally, the Child of the Dark Night ability, though the lowest level, was the ability that surprised Sean the most.
However, unlike Fenrir's Child of the Dark Night ability, this ability allowed Sean to overdraw his potential on full moon nights to gain several times his usual strength, both physically and magically. Fenrir's original version of this overdrawing was very domineering, causing great harm to Fenrir himself and requiring long periods of rest.
But Sean's Child of the Dark Night ability, modified by the panel, wouldn't damage his foundation through overdrawing. It would only leave Sean in a weakened state for one or two days. Compared to the ability's enhancement, the cost was already very minimal.
Of course, such a useful ability could only be used once per month.
Closing the panel, bathed in the full moon's moonlight, Sean felt refreshed in body and mind, increasingly comfortable.
Bang!
Dirt and stones exploded beneath his feet as Sean became a blur shooting forward.
Under normal conditions, Sean's current speed had already reached superhuman levels. Now, relying on magical and physical strength, he could already match Ministry Aurors. If he added Sean's various methods comprehensively, an ordinary Auror definitely wouldn't be Sean's match.
Sean rushed into the forest. Bright white light appeared ahead. A white phantom resembling a stag, wrapped in large amounts of white mist, rushed into the air to resist the descending Dementors.
It had to be said that talent was truly an unsolvable thing.
In the first and second years, among the trio, purely in terms of magical ability, Hermione was absolutely first. But in third year, when Harry met Lupin, it was like he was cheating. His magical level rose straight up. Especially in Defence Against the Dark Arts, in just most of a semester, Harry's mastery of the Patronus Charm had already reached the same level as Sean's.
Note that Sean had started learning the Patronus Charm earlier than Harry.
When Sean reached above a valley, he could see Dementors everywhere. Below, Harry was protecting the unconscious Sirius and Peter Pettigrew, who was cowering to the side, playing dead.
However, it looked like Harry's Patronus Charm couldn't hold much longer.
And with Sean's intervention, history had changed. Harry hadn't used the Time-Turner with Hermione to go back and help his past self. If this continued, Sirius would probably have his soul directly sucked by Dementors and become a living corpse.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Waving his wand, Sean on the cliff released his Patronus.
White mist revealed the phantom of a white snake, rushing into the Dementors and rampaging through them, greatly relieving Harry's pressure.
In front of Harry, Sean didn't use the Smoky Rope Curse, so he only used the fairy's flight (levitation) ability, descending from the cliff and arriving beside Harry under his Patronus's protection. He checked the unconscious Sirius, then waved his wand to summon a vine that firmly bound Peter Pettigrew, before saying to Harry: "Harry, how are you?"
"Sean, there are too many Dementors. I have no way..."
Reaching out to grab Harry's shoulder, Sean applied gentle pressure to bring Harry back to his senses, then said seriously: "Harry, the Patronus needs positive, happy and joyful memories. These memories can be ones you've experienced or ones you anticipate and are certain you'll encounter in the future.
You now have friends, teachers, and a godfather. They will always be with you in the future. To protect them, remember. Remember your happiness and joy!"
Harry looked at Sean, a happy smile slowly appearing on his face. He raised his wand, no longer afraid, no longer confused, and recited the spell with happiness and determination.
"Expecto Patronum!"
White light flashed, and silver-white mist rose from the light. A stag completely formed of silver-white mist leaped from Harry's wand, sending out waves of white light that broke through the Dementors' blockade.
Sean looked at the almost completely corporeal stag, then turned to look at Peter Pettigrew lying to the side, showing a smile that was etched into Peter Pettigrew's soul with trembling.
"Peter, it's time to contribute some happy and joyful memories."
"Pain Absorption!"
