Chapter 280: Leisurely Holiday

With Kulkan's matter concluded, Sean spent a relatively leisurely time at Castelobruxo, and soon a month had passed.

Sitting in Castelobruxo's cafeteria, Sean looked at Fleur across from him: "I'm going back tomorrow. What about you? Want to come play in England for a couple of days?"

"Stay at your house?"

Hearing Fleur's words, Sean was stunned for a moment, then nodded: "If you want, of course you can stay at my house. We happen to have spare rooms. But if you find it inconvenient, you can also stay outside. I know a nice hotel right near my home."

Looking at Sean, Fleur laughed heartily, then shook her head: "No, although I'm really tempted, I actually have some things to handle this holiday. It's already been a month, and I need to spend the remaining time dealing with those matters. But I think we should be able to meet again soon."

Sean naturally knew what Fleur meant by "meet again soon".

He didn't play riddles and said directly: "Are you planning to participate in the Triwizard Tournament?"

After being stunned for a moment, Fleur nodded: "I almost forgot. Your Bulstrode family is well-connected. It's normal that you'd know about the Triwizard Tournament.

Yes, I'm planning to participate. Our headmistress talked to me. I'm one of the most capable sixth-year students, so the Goblet of Fire might very well choose me as Beauxbatons' champion. She suggested I do some special training during the holidays, and my family agreed with this proposal. Next I must return to France for training."

Looking at Fleur, Sean said: "The Triwizard Tournament, at its core, tests how wizards respond and perform in extreme situations. So you might consider approaching it from this angle. Like how to deal with powerful magical creatures and how to handle extreme environments: underwater, midair, jungle, and mazes. You could start from these aspects."

Fleur looked at Sean and laughed out loud. She shook her head and smiled: "I'll go back and do targeted training for all those things you mentioned. But somehow I feel like when you say these things, it's as if you're certain these will be the actual events. How strange."

"Maybe I really did guess correctly?"

"Then you'd be doing me a huge favour. I could promise you anything."

Sean looked at Fleur strangely, then smiled and nodded: "Then it's settled."

Sean and Fleur parted ways at the Brazilian Ministry of Magic, each using Portkeys to return to their respective countries.

As soon as he returned to England, Sean parted from Jensen and went home with Aldrich.

Just entering the house, Sean suddenly heard his little brother Caesar crying.

Setting down his things, Sean hurried inside. Seeing his brother crying continuously in his mother's arms, he immediately asked: "Mum, what's wrong with Caesar?"

Martha was obviously at a loss about Caesar's crying. Since birth, Caesar had always been very well-behaved. Apart from crying when hungry or needing a nappy change, he usually didn't cry much and often smiled instead. But recently, for some unknown reason, Caesar had been crying inexplicably, and Martha and Yad couldn't find the cause.

Seeing the sweat on Martha's forehead, Sean knew his mother must be exhausted. He reached out to take Caesar: "Mum, let me try. You rest for a bit. Maybe Caesar will be fine in my arms..."

Before Sean could finish speaking, Caesar immediately stopped crying when held by him. Looking at Sean, he reached out with tiny hands to gently touch Sean's cheek, then smiled.

"Caesar stopped crying?"

"He really did stop crying. Could Caesar have been waiting for Sean? He smiled as soon as Sean came back."

Martha and Yad both came over. Seeing Caesar yawn while smiling and fall asleep in Sean's arms, they finally relaxed.

"Sean, you really have a way with him."

Plopping down on the sofa, Martha wiped her sweat and drank some water. She'd really been exhausted recently. When Sean was little, due to his past-life memories and ability to endure solitude, he basically hadn't caused Martha much trouble. But with Caesar, Martha had finally met her Waterloo.

"Mum and Dad, have you been taking care of Caesar recently?"

"Yes, this little one has been wearing us out. Thank goodness you can get him to sleep."

Looking at Caesar in his arms, Sean sat on the sofa holding him: "Then leave Caesar to me today. You two go out on a date. I imagine it's been a long time since you went out together?"

Hearing Sean's words, Yad and Martha were immediately tempted.

They looked at each other, and Martha said somewhat hesitantly: "That's not... quite right, is it?"

"There's nothing wrong with it. Let's get ready and go out."

"Mum, go ahead."

"Well... alright then."

Her tone was hesitant, but her actions were decisive.

Yad and Martha quickly got themselves ready and drove off, disappearing at the end of the street.

Watching Yad and Martha leave, Sean held Caesar with one hand and took the orange juice Aldrich handed him with the other, took a sip, and set it aside.

In the kitchen, Jade was preparing food for Caesar.

A one-year-old child had already started eating solid foods. Meat, vegetable, and egg purees.

The family naturally prepared the best kind for Caesar.

A one-year-old baby wasn't exactly small, but for Sean, with his physical capabilities, he could hold Caesar with one hand all day without any problems.

"Young master, would you like me to get you a book or turn on the television?"

"Get me a book. From my Undetectable Extension Bag, that alchemy book."

"Yes, young master."

Aldrich retrieved the book and placed it within Sean's reach.

Sean held the book with one hand and asked Aldrich: "Aldrich, aren't you going to the orphanage?"

"Things there no longer need me. Others can handle them."

"Actually, staying by my side, there's not really anything for you to do."

"Being able to serve tea, pour water, fetch books and hold pens for the young master is already my honour."

Shaking his head with a smile, Sean didn't say anything more. He held Caesar while reading. Quite pleasant indeed.

Holidays always passed quickly.

Especially since Sean had already spent a month in Brazil.

As school approached, Sean had wanted to find that possible Ravenclaw treasure from Lockhart's memories but, considering his current strength still felt somewhat insufficient, and time wasn't abundant either, he temporarily abandoned this idea. As someone from his past life, Sean had a bit of "insufficient firepower phobia", so he simply ended these plans and peacefully accompanied his parents and brother.

Until Gavin sent a letter inviting their family of four to dinner at Bulstrode Manor.
