Chapter 279: Brand New Abilities
"Sean, I can't go on anymore, I'm going to sleep first... Zzzzz..."
Feeling Kulkan in his arms completely fall into deep sleep, Sean no longer lingered. He looked regretfully at the dead and unconscious magical creatures outside. If not for the Brazilian Ministry Aurors and Castelobruxo professors already gathering outside, he would definitely not have passed up the materials and flesh from those magical creatures.
Turning around, Sean headed directly in the opposite direction from where those wizards were gathering, quickly departing.
Sean was fairly lucky. He didn't encounter any Castelobruxo professors or Brazilian Ministry Aurors on his way back. When he returned to his dormitory, it was already late at night, but Aldrich and Jensen were still waiting in the room. Seeing Sean return safely, they both couldn't help but breathe sighs of relief.
"Young master, there's some food and drinks here. I imagine you must be hungry."
Looking at the food on the table, the quantity was quite substantial, and it had all been kept warm with preservation magic at the perfect temperature for eating. Aldrich always did things so thoughtfully.
"Thank you, Aldrich. Without you by my side, my quality of life would drop at least two levels."
"Thank you for the praise, young master. Being needed by you is my honour."
After expressing thanks, Aldrich shot Jensen a provocative sideways glance, leaving Jensen speechless.
After eating, Sean washed up, and the three of them went to their respective rooms to sleep.
Sean placed Kulkan in her snake nest, looking at her deep slumber. He didn't know what she would look like when she woke up or to what degree she would have evolved.
With a thought, the panel opened.
Sean looked at the panel's notification page and saw the ability extraction results from the Mountain Troll Dragon, Occamy, and Thunderbird respectively.

The Mountain Troll Dragon's abilities enhanced the Animagus White Serpent King form, upgrading the original LV3 Serpent King Scales to LV4, and granting the Animagus White Serpent King form a brand new talent. Serpent King Body.
Simply put, the Serpent King Body talent allowed the White Serpent King to possess more powerful strength with comprehensive muscle enhancement.

The Occamy was indeed the weakest among the Thunderbird and Mountain Troll Dragon, but with its ability to grow larger and smaller, it moved like a fish in water during their three-way battle.
The Occamy Body actually provided the Occamy's ability to grow larger and smaller. Now it was merged by the panel into the Serpent King Body ability, making Serpent King Body no longer just a talent that increased strength.
Now Sean could also grow larger and smaller like Kulkan.
Sean continued to check the abilities extracted from the Thunderbird, not realising that the merger of Occamy Body had granted him abilities beyond just growing larger and smaller!

Seeing the abilities from the Thunderbird, Sean couldn't help but sit up.
The Thunderbird's ability to summon wind, rain, and thunder had been modified by the panel into two spells. One could call forth gales and rain, the other could summon thunder and lightning. More importantly, these were Animagus form shared abilities, meaning even when transformed into the White Serpent King Animagus form, Sean could still summon storms and wield thunder.
Why was this?
Did the Thunderbird's abilities have some special property?
However, overall this was a good thing. At least from now on, the White Serpent King form would have more than just Serpent King's Eyes. More abilities could give the White Serpent King more combat methods.
Sean obviously hadn't realized.
In the current magical world, it seemed only he treated Animagus as a regular combat form and was quite dissatisfied with picking and choosing battle abilities...
After absorbing the extracted abilities, Sean could finally sleep peacefully.
The next morning at breakfast, Sean heard conversations among the remaining Castelobruxo students.
Last night, when the wizards assembled, they discovered that the Mayan pyramid was unusually quiet. When they sent people to investigate, they found the petrified Mountain Troll Dragon, along with petrified weeds and some nearby insects. As for the Occamy and Thunderbird, they had vanished without a trace.
Later, after containing the unconscious Nundu and Chimaera, the Brazilian Ministry Aurors conducted deeper investigations and eventually discovered traces of serpentine magical creatures. Combined with the petrified Mountain Troll Dragon and the missing Occamy and Thunderbird, the Brazilian Ministry made a preliminary judgement that a variant of Basilisk had likely appeared, and this variant was more terrifying and dangerous than the original Basilisk.
They directly classified the variant Basilisk as a suspected XXXXXX-rated magical creature and reported it to the International Confederation of Wizards.
As for the missing Occamy and Thunderbird, they concluded they had been devoured by the variant Basilisk.
In a sense, the Brazilian Ministry Aurors had made quite an accurate judgement.
