Chapter 5 - Marco’s Bold Proposal

"What are you doing here?" Marco was standing on Luna's room's terrace at that moment.

"I came to meet you, and I had something to tell you," Marco said, looking at her.

"There's an intercom in my house, Marco," Luna looked at him in surprise.

"Well, let me in then," Marco took a step forward.

"Why are you here now? What do you want to talk about?" Luna couldn't understand why he had come like this.

"I need to talk to you about something important," Marco said as he sat on her bed.

"What?" Luna looked at him angrily.

"I don't know how to say this, but since I saw you, I don't understand what's happening to me," Marco lowered his head in his hands.

"Marco, are you joking right now?" Luna glared at him.

"Yes, I was bitten by a dog, not that I'll joke with you about this topic," Marco hit his head in frustration.

"What topic?" Luna looked at him in astonishment.

"Are you crazy or something? I'm telling you; I love you. I can't live without you. Since I saw you, everything around me has changed," Marco grabbed Luna by the arms and shook her.

Luna just stared at him, as if she couldn't believe what was happening.

"But you…" Luna tried to say something.

"That's why I used to roast you at least, you would speak to me," Marco looked at her.

"Luna, I love you," Marco said again when he saw her silent.

And in the next moment, Luna slightly nodded her head in agreement. With that, Marco leaned down and kissed her lips.

"Luna, is anyone in your room?" Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"No, no one is here," Luna quickly covered her laughter.

"Then what was that sound?" Sophia asked, still standing outside the room.

"I'm just with some friends, watching videos," Luna lied.

"Oh, okay. But honey, go to bed soon," Sophia said before turning to leave.

"Drama queen," Marco pulled her closer.

"Now get out of here," Luna pushed him away.

"Think about it, I just became your boyfriend," Marco said with a sad look.

"I'm not thinking, you do whatever you want," Luna leaned in a bit closer and spoke.

"Well, I'll take care of it," Marco said as he pulled her closer and kissed her.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, Kevin... The only sound echoing from every direction.

He was standing in the boxing ring at that moment. The final round was about to start. As soon as the referee blew the whistle, Kevin's opponent stepped forward.

He threw the first punch, but it failed.

In the next moment, Kevin landed five powerful punches in quick succession, and on the final punch, his opponent flew into the air and crashed to the mat. With that, Kevin was once again the black belt champion.

"You knocked him out, buddy!" Kai said as he walked over to him after the celebration, just as he spotted Emilia.

Kevin walked over to her, and as he got close, Emilia hugged him tightly.

"That was an amazing match," Emilia said as she hugged him.

"I can't believe you're here," Kevin said, looking at her.

"It was a surprise," Emilia looked at Kai.

"I like this surprise," Kevin said as he leaned in close to Emilia.

"You look dashing," Emilia looked him over from head to toe.

"Shall we go for something to eat, or are we staying hungry?" Kai asked, glancing between them.

"Sorry, I can't join you two. Luna called me," Emilia looked at them.

"Thanks for coming," Kevin said as he kissed her hand.

"Anything for you," Emilia said with a wink and then left them both.

"What's up, Kai? Why do you seem so upset?" Kevin asked, taking a sip of his piña colada.

"I miss her, Kevin," Kai lowered his head.

"Who?" The question was blunt.

"My girlfriend, who else would I miss?" Kai glared at him.

"Girlfriend? You mean your twentieth ex," Kevin corrected him.

"Yeah, that's who I miss," Kai sat down again, continuing his misery.

"How long are you going to cry about this?" Kevin asked carelessly.

"You don't even care that I'm upset," Kai looked at him in surprise.

"I've heard your whining so many times that I don't care anymore," Kevin glared at him.

"Get lost," Kai said, upset.

"Kai, get serious, please. Love is no joke. Stop playing with girls' hearts, and get serious about one," Kevin explained bluntly.

"I think love isn't meant for me," Kai shrugged.

"You haven't even experienced love yet, Kai. The day you do, you won't be saying this nonsense," Kevin gave him a reality check while Kai silently looked at him.

"What's going on? Why are you so impatient?" Emilia asked, sitting across from Luna at the café, looking at her neck.

"Wait, let me loosen up my stool," Emilia said as she looked at Luna.

Luna seemed a bit troubled.

"What's going on, Luna?" Emilia asked, giving her a questioning look.

"Marco proposed to me," Luna blurted out.

"When? Where? How?" Emilia immediately bombarded her with questions.

"He came to my house last night, to the terrace of my room," Luna paused as she spoke.

"What happened next?" Emilia asked excitedly.

"He proposed," Luna blushed.

"And then what happened?" Emilia smiled at her.

"He stayed the night at my house," Luna held up a menu card in front of her face.

"Oh, my goodness!" Both of them were stunned, and Emilia looked at her in disbelief.

Luna nodded in agreement.

"How was it? Tell me everything," Emilia urged her, excited.

"I think I should have recorded a video for you," Luna said as she glared at her.

"How could you forget to record a video?" Emilia looked at her in surprise.

"Shame on you, Emilia. It's like you don't have a boyfriend. If he finds out, you'd better watch out," Luna teased her.

And with that, both of them burst into laughter in the café, until Someone's voice interrupted them, halting their fun.
