"Did you already do it?"

"Yes."

"But I still haven't asked for anything."

"I guessed."

Kaito sighed in resignation. The people around him had strange personalities, he was already used to it.

"So, what do you have?" Kaito finally said.

"The Wyverns don't stand a chance" Kato replied.

"Right in the center of the Wyvern region there is a dome. Its size is not much, only around ten meters in diameter, but no matter what I tried I couldn't break through it, neither me nor them.

There are Wyverns everywhere around it, at least five hundred, all flying and trying to destroy it but the dome remains firm."

"If you couldn't get in then it must be something special. It will take me a few minutes to try to enter" Kaito murmured. "During that time I would rather not be bothered. How many undead are there?"

"I don't know the number but..." Kato's voice wavered for a second before speaking. "It's at least one hundred thousand."

Even Kaito was surprised by the number. No matter how weak they are, a hundred thousand is still a concerning number, especially because Kaito doesn't have many area attacks, so he would have to kill them one by one. Considering how weak skeletons are it is not an exaggeration to say Kaito could kill each of them with a single hit. From the outside it might look like he killed them all in less than five minutes, but from Kaito's perspective it would be a very annoying solution.

"What about the summoning?" Kaito asked.

"Another problem. The time between summons is almost nonexistent, I have seen him keep summoning nonstop while his skeletons are destroyed by the Wyverns. I think there is no cooldown, instead he has a limit on the total number of summons and simply summons more once the others are destroyed."

Kaito narrowed his eyes in annoyance as he reviewed her words.

If he keeps summoning without rest it will be even harder to focus on entering the dome.

"Even if there is a chance that I can break the dome, we cannot bet everything on that possibility. It could be a high class object that I can't break. In that case the best thing would be to get someone with powerful wide area attacks, who can keep killing the skeletons at the same speed the necromancer summons them" Kaito explained.

"I also think there might be someone else besides the necromancer."

"Why do you think that?" Kaito asked.

"Necromancers are usually lazy or gloomy right? And they don't have a maximum distance at which they can control their summoned undead. At least that's how they are in games, so there is no reason to be in the center of the battlefield" Kato explained.

Kaito thought about it and agreed.

"So it must be someone with control powers" Kaito said.

Knowing that there was a necromancer he studied a bit about the necromancers in this world. Although there is the possibility that the necromancer's power system is different due to the system, as long as there is no proof the best is to assume he follows this world's power system.

Necromancers in this world have two types of summons, summoned undead and resurrected undead.

The second case is the most well known, using a corpse and bringing it back to life like a puppet. Its level of consciousness depends on the power it had when alive, although the necromancer can use his own mana to change this, like suppressing a powerful consciousness or giving consciousness to weak beings, although they usually do not do it because it is not very useful.

The first case is almost certainly what the necromancer is using. It is about creating basic mindless undead from nothing. This costs very little mana due to how weak they are.

However this only applies to the summoning. The big problem of this method is that since they have no consciousness the mage must control them all by himself, which becomes a huge mental burden the more there are. Even if mana can be used to increase mental capacity, controlling a hundred thousand at once still requires an immeasurable amount.

But there is a solution, at least a hypothetical one. It has never been seen in Gaia, or maybe it has but the information was suppressed so it would not be repeated. Kaito only knows the hypothesis because Mashiro said it is possible.

The solution is having an ally with mind control powers as a partner. Mages with mind control powers can control the minds of others, something extremely taboo in society so there are not many.

Controlling others causes a large mental burden depending on the consciousness level of the target, but summoned undead have almost no consciousness so controlling them is simple as long as they have permission from the original summoner.

When Mashiro said that possibility Kaito only took it as a possibility. But now with Kato's information Kaito is almost sure this is what is happening.

This is based on two clues. First, the incredible number of one hundred thousand undead constantly replaced. Second, the fact that he is in the battlefield, because unlike necromancers, control mages have a determined range where their magic works.

Of course a superior control does not have range, it is more similar to brainwashing or hypnosis, something that does not depend on magic once it is done. But for simple undead it is most likely that simple control was used.

"So I will go get someone" Kaito said, thinking of the perfect person for the job.

"For who..." Kato did not finish speaking when Kaito had already disappeared, leaving a gust of wind behind that messed up her hair.

After a few minutes Kaito had already crossed half the forest and arrived at the southeast sector, a low level zone that was the first to be conquered. From there he ran to the left, where the group that had Mashiro was.

But after checking the mansion of the lord of five villages in that direction, the sixth one no longer had presence of his army, which indicated they had not arrived there yet. Confused he changed direction to the east this time, and in the northeast sector he detected her presence in a room sleeping.

However after sensing that Sonya was awake he appeared in front of her first.

Sonya was sitting in an office behind the desk when a gust of wind made her hair fly.

Used to this for a long time, she raised her gaze without being startled and saw Kaito sitting in front of her eating an apple.

"You like appearing out of nowhere right?" She said.

"From my perspective it was not out of nowhere, but let's not talk about that, what happened, why are you all here?" Kaito replied with indifference before asking seriously.

But after hearing Sonya's explanation about Barak his expression returned to normal.

"So it is not too much of a problem."

"Hmm" Sonya nodded. "You can take care of all of them quickly as soon as you notice one. Anyway in case they do not appear where you are we will send a message. At most there will be around ten per sector, easy for Koneko and me to handle."

"The Shadeward family is on our side, the Darkfrost family has already been taken by Yukinoshita, and now with this the Barak family has already revealed their plans, which only leaves five uncertain, four if we assume that now that an Ashen is king they no longer need to keep planning" Kaito said.

"That is true, it keeps getting easier" Sonya smiled. "By the way, did you come for something in particular?" She asked, curious.

"I came for Mashiro" Kaito replied.

"Is there something you can't handle on your own?"

"I am not omnipotent" Kaito shrugged. "I need someone who can deal with a lot of weak annoyances while I focus on something else" he explained before disappearing.

"He doesn't even say goodbye" Sonya sighed before returning to her work.

Meanwhile in the sky the wind woke Mashiro, who made an annoyed face and protected herself with magic.

When she opened her eyes and saw that she was flying she was surprised, but when she saw that Kaito was carrying her she calmed down.

"My clothes?" She asked.

"I dressed you."

"My face?"

"I washed you."

"My teeth?"

"I washed them."

"My..."

"I already did everything" Kaito interrupted. "You were going to ask me to do it for you anyway, right?"

"Nn" Mashiro nodded before asking. "Where are we going?"

"I need your help with something, we are heading to the territory of the necromancer we talked about earlier" Kaito replied.

"Is something wrong?" She asked, noticing Mashiro's expression.

"I can't help you."

Kaito looked at her confused.

"I am weak" she said.

Mashiro explained to Kaito about her previous fight against Morlum.

Kaito whistled in surprise. "Amazing, to think he could beat you even using that insect and animal technique you developed recently."

"Are you... disappointed?" She asked with her head down.

"Of course not, after all you are more of an area mage than an individual one. Besides you even got a new transformation, isn't that cool?"

"Very cool, I am like Kaito" she nodded.
