He Kao didn't check in, put away his ID card, and left the hotel amidst the startled gazes of the two people, only sending a message to Sun Fu once he got in the car—
"Sorry, I have something to deal with tonight and can't attend your wedding. I ran into Lu Shutang at the hotel. The groomsman suit is with him, you can get it from him when you have time."
Sun Fu was likely busy with other things and only saw the message half an hour later, calling with a voice call.
He Kao was driving, put on his Bluetooth headset and answered, immediately hearing Sun Fu's anxious voice: "He Kao, what's going on?"
He Kao calmly replied, "Sun Fu, I already mentioned earlier, I'm really sorry, who doesn't have things to deal with sometimes? I don't have time to attend the wedding this weekend, so here's my congratulations to you!"
