If we don't consider Hidden Moth as an unexpected factor, the one from Ancestral Hall who would act to retrieve the Bone-Penetrating Treasure Mirror should be Li Xiuyuan.
Speaking of direct confrontation, Li Xiuyuan definitely doesn't match Mei Guyu or Gu Chun, but as a Tier Six Illusion Master, he can create various illusions, even seemingly real visions, possessing numerous means of probing and affecting perception, making him the most mysterious and enigmatic.
Therefore, when it comes to sneaking into places and taking things, aside from Hidden Moth, he is probably the most suitable. As for the other masters from Ancestral Hall, they could assist in the cover-up.
He Kao chimed in, saying, "Isn't that where I come in?"
Li Xiuyuan: "Where would I dare trouble you, Grand Sect Leader He! Besides, the Hidden Moth Sect has yet to return to the Magic Sect, Ancestral Hall can't control you, let alone give you orders."
