The scorching wind seemed to mirror Gleya's mood.
She stared at Duncan's back ahead and finally couldn't help but ask, "Why did she address you as 'Your Majesty'?"
"Who exactly are you?"
There are very few beings in human history that can be addressed as 'Your Majesty' by a Divine Spirit, and this world essentially has none.
Hearing this, Duncan stopped walking. Instead of directly answering Gleya's question, he countered by asking, "Are you very curious?"
"Yes." Witch Gleya nodded solemnly, "At the very least, you owe me some answers."
She had followed him here; she couldn't be completely in the dark.
That wouldn't be fair to her.
Duncan pondered for a moment, standing on the cliff's edge, gazing at the small temple pyramid nearby, and slowly said, "I once built a vast empire."
"All Spirits were probably my defeated foes back then."
All Spirits were disgruntled, murmuring quietly.
