Duncan would generally not trouble agricultural deities, unless they were extraordinarily dark and bloody.

Upon hearing his words, the corn goddess Yolani seemed to breathe a sigh of relief. She was the last standing in the pantheon of corn; if Duncan really intended to slay her, no other Divine Spirit would come to her aid, and she could not fight alone against the concentrated will of Heaven.

Heaven could easily extinguish a corn god.

"Is there something to eat?"

Duncan casually sat down, raised his head, and said, "As a corn goddess worshiped by mortals, you do not offer corn to your guest when they arrive?"
