"Are you going in? Do you need help?" Qin Xia asked at the door.
Chu Zhengran snapped out of it and said, "No need, I can walk by myself."
"Oh."
He said he could walk, so Qin Xia really didn't bother with him, pushed the door open, and went in by herself.
Chu Zhengran was behind, supporting himself on the wall, moving extremely slowly, looking at Qin Xia's back and said, "What did my mom... say to you?"
"Nothing much." Qin Xia found a rubber band and tied her hair, "She said she'd give me a hundred million to leave you."
Chu Zhengran stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening as he looked at her.
Qin Xia tied her hair into a bun, got the household register from outside the ward to inside, and then placed it conspicuously on the bedside cabinet, but Chu Zhengran didn't notice it at all.
"My mom told you that?" Chu Zhengran asked.
Qin Xia looked at him, and after a while, said, "Did an alien eat your brain last night?"
Chu Zhengran: "......"
