Chapter 9 - Mastery.

"there's three main catorgies for abilities, they're External, Internal, and Spiritual. We won't even begin talking about the minor categories for now." She looked around the room a little confused

"Aren't any of you going to take notes?" Her face scrunched up a bit as waves of students simultaneously whipped out notebooks and pencils.

"..Alright. firstly I want you to write down what YOU think each of these mean, and then I'll tell you the actual definitions after."

"I want to see how well you can think."

Ms.Dellis scanned the room and finally relaxed again.

'Internal is pretty easy, enhances or affects body. External affects surroundings while Spiritual...'

"I refuse- I refuse to believe y'all are this stupid."

Ms.Dellis had her head hung low while clenching the classes answers in both hands.

"Only two of these papers are even legible, and even then, these are elementary answers not even written in complete sentences!"

She placed a hand to clench a desk to hold herself up.

"What even is this, Chinese?" She took off her glasses, rubbing the lenses and tried to re-read a certain students paper.

"Even the name's unreadable, who's is this?" She held the paper like it bowed her money.

"It was me." Heads turned and tge tempature in the room got colder.

In all her glory Maria stood up confidently with the help of the breeze making her look quite awe-inspiring and brave.

'Go Maria, you got this!' I had to focus with my fingers under my desk too not make the breeze to harsh.

'helping a future big shot couldn't hurt.'

"You." Ms.Dellis was trying her best not to scowl but her odd 'smile' wasn't helping.

"Miss I believe that we as students should be allowed to express ourselves in our work, since we no longer have language classes or electives like the arts, I believe that at the very least we should be allowed this right."

She was spouting absolute bull crap, but you couldn't help but listen. A few even looked inspired writing down notes.

"I would like to be allowed to speak to the assistant principal about letting in time for us to at least learn a language or one class where we can breathe-" it seemed that she expected what would happen next when she was lifted by the scruff and dragged outside the class.

But not without sporting a smile and holding out the peace sign.

"Prez! We'll wait on your return!"

"Thank you prez for your consideration, we will continue on with your glory!"

"We love you Maria!"

"Why must you fight? What about our three kids that are waiting on you..?"

"Yo Nora, when have we had a class president?" Tori couldn't help it and asked

"Since never, we've never even held a vote for one."

Tori looked even more confused but glaEd over it.

"Don't you feel like we're never learning anything anymore?" She looked at her empty notebook.

"I mean I've been keeping track and you're pretty right. Maybe think of it as self discovery time?" Tori perked up and started shining

"I remember now! I wanted to show you something I learned a little while ago."

She stood up and looked around at the almost empty class dumbfounded.

"I mean we got time, but we should've left earlier." I stood up and brushed some imagenery dust off my skirt.

"Also we gotta find that Liger kid before curfew." I started speed walking with Tori in tow.

Tori looked a little happy

"Why do you need him? You conjure up something in that head of yours?"

She sped up Infront of me

"How you gonna pay him though? I heard that one's got anorexia."

'who the hell told you that!?'

"It's honestly quite the opposite, but where are you hearing this stuff?" Tori looked a bit embarrassed and whispered

"It gets boring around here, so I just listen to some of the stuff my bro hears."

"Tsk tsk, I didn't take you for a gossip girl.'

"I get bored!"
