What was once Cardin now stood as Godrick the Grafted. Or at least a knockoff version of him. It still had Cardin's face, or part of it. As I readied myself for the fight to come, Cardin smiled at me.
.
"Ah, now this is power!" Cardin shouted as it rattled the arena. "I don't know who you are, but you can't beat me this time!"
.
As he was monologing, I dashed close to him and swung Rivers of Blood at his leg. The Katana cut deep into his leg, and he roared in pain. In response, I got kicked across the arena and slammed into the opposite wall. Thankfully, I held onto the Rivers of Blood, and its special ability saved me some health recovery. The students gasped and readied their weapons to fight as I pulled myself out of the wall; those with ranged attacks shot at Cardin.
Still grinning, Cardin tanked the shots and then some. I rushed forward again and this time aimed for shallow strikes to activate the bleeding effect of Rivers of Blood. Thankfully, it happened after three strikes. As for Cardin, he saw me as the bigger threat.
So with his attention focused on me, I dodged backwards and pulled out the Golem's Greatbow and launched a Greatarrow directly at his face with speed far faster than he could react to. Cardin's face split into two but reformed after a second. Cursing, I let loose two more Greatarrows at his chest this time as he charged at me. The two Greatarrows struck true; however, they did little to hinder him. Stashing the Greatbow, I ran around his charge as he collided with the wall.
As he staggered back, I pulled out a normal katana that Master Hewg had enhanced to the limit and applied the incantation, Bloodflame Blade. Slashing away as I got close, I did as much as I could while he was still staggered. When the Bloodflame Blade wore off, I stepped back and applied the Black Flame Blade incantation. With a solid strike to the head of Cardin, the katana burned a hole where his brain was.
However, all that was achieved was me getting backhanded away by Cardin. Still holding on to the katana, I watched as the two incantations worked their magic. Both Black Flames and Bloodflames burned and bled Cardin until he crumpled to the floor.
As the students and Glynda sighed in relief that this fight might be over, I knew better. Cardin then cried out in pain before his left side arms slopped off. Grabbing the remnants with his right arm, he molded them into a massive flesh-and-bone axe. He then stood up and swung it, creating a massive wind gust.
I was pushed back a step, but that step was all he needed to gain his second wind. He stood and charged at me, as I was the biggest threat. I grit my teeth as I needed to end this quickly. I repeatedly dodged around the arena as I started to recite the incantation for one of my more powerful spells. Just as I was about to use said spell, the students opened fire again and managed to take his aggression off of me for a second. Golden Arcs flew out of my Finger Seal and began to circle Cardin and continuously deal damage.
With desperation fueling my feet, I charged at him while pulling out the Godslayer's Greatsword, jumped up, and drove the blade deep into Cardin's head. Blood poured out of the wound, and with my weight, I dragged him down to the ground. I then ripped the Greatsword out in a visceral motion, making sure that he was dead.
It was then that I felt an influx of runes flow into me. That alone scared me, not the fight with Cardin or the fact that I was in a different world. But the fact that Runes were present along with the Madness of the Three Fingers meant that this world and the Lands Between were beginning to be connected. As I was contemplating this, Glynda came and informed me that the fog wall was gone.
.
"What was that?" She asked as she gestured with her eyes towards the remains of Cardin.
"Something from my world," I whispered back, "Let Ozpin know that something is happening to the world as we speak."
"I'll inform him," She said as we walked back to where the Students gathered.
.
After doing a headcount, we found that not a single student was missing. A few were scared stiff at the sight of me in my Very Bloody Wolf Armor. I knew there were gonna be questions; however, now was not the time or place. Now was a time for rest and cooperation. I also just knew that there was gonna be trauma from the sight of what happened.
Several students looked shellshocked at the sight of so much blood. Others were scared to even speak in my presence. While a few were afraid to know what that was down there, as they knew that wasn't Cardin after his transformation.

.
I currently stood in Ozpin's office with Glynda as we awaited said person. Soon, though, the elevator dinged and out came the man of the office, looking tired and weary of everything. Once he heard that Cardin had gone and done what he did, he, the Council, and the Board of Directors had a nice, long talk.
However, when Ozpin heard that Cardin did what he did and condemned many mercenaries to a violent death, and what had happened afterwards, he struggled to understand why. Why it happened and what's to come from it. That was what he was most scared of.
Currently, I was standing in my cleaned Bloody Wolf Armor, and Glynda had a glass of scotch, a type of alcohol I was told she was sipping.
.
"We need..." He started before sighing, "I'll be honest, I'm not sure what we need."
.
Glynda just handed him a glass of scotch.
