It was the happiest time of his life—until he foresaw her dying in childbirth.
Fear consumed him completely.
He turned first to the Jedi Order for help, but all they told him was to accept fate. That was the way of the Jedi.
But how could Anakin—who had already endured the pain of losing his mother—accept such an end?
In the moment his mother died, he had sworn to become stronger. Strong enough to protect everything… even to conquer death itself.
It was then that the Sith Lord, who had long hidden behind the mask of the Chancellor—and also counted himself among Anakin's friends—offered him the teachings of the dark side.
