After a while, Baldr gave in and relented. "Alright, fine. I'll let it go." He smiled, opting to let it go for now. "So what's the reason for asking me to come here?" Shurry returned to his humanoid form. "Ah, I see. You want some specialty made garments. I bet it gets expensive replacing his clothes every time, even with how little you all use to cover yourselves up. I hope you know such things aren't cheap."
"I know, but the risk of leaving him bare like this, for any length of time, isn't really safe for him." Kali said, and had money prepared.
Then, Kali switched to speaking in the god's tongue. "Baldr, I once made a promise to my wolf boy here, that I would keep him safe from those who'd seek him out far too young. If it turns out I can't… Can you keep a spot open for him?"
Baldr's eyes widened, Similarly, Leon's did as well, though his were more due to the limited understanding he had. The two looked at each other, blinked, and then chuckled.
"Kali, if that's what you want, I'll have Leon keep an eye out for things." Baldr waited for a moment.
"If he ends up calling out for your help at any point during your stay here, then I'll have to relent. I can't very well keep him if I can't even keep my promise." Kali sighed. "As much of a boon he is to me, I'd rather he stay safe, and grow up strong."
Switching back to Telskyura's language, a dialect of the lower world's common language. "Alright, Kali, I'll assume we have a deal. I'll get some of those clothes made for him right away. It'll be about… Half that amount." Baldr chuckled. "Leon, when we return to the ship, remind me in case I forget."
"You're funny Lord Baldr, You and I both know you could never forget." Leon laughed, with a truly happy smile on his face.
Shurry's tail kept wagging back and forth, this time he was curious. Sniffing Baldr caused his tail to wag even more. "You smell nice, Lord… Uh… Boulder!"
"Pfft, your name is Shurry, right?"
"That's right Lord Boulder!"
"Well, my name is Baldr, not Boulder."
"Lord, Boul… Bowld? Uhm, Bowldler?" His tail slowed, and head tilted to the side. Is that not it? Hmm.. Man this one isn't easy… "Lord, Baldour? No, that's not it either… Oh man… Baldr?" He continued, growing more embarrassed by the second.
"Ahahaha, now that was adorable. Kali, can I have him join my class? I would of course compensate you." Baldr chuckled, petting Shurry's head, causing a tail to wag and ears to flick.
"That would be difficult-"
"Lady Kali, you can't be serious, can you? Shurry is like our happy little mascot! You can't get rid of him!"
"As you can see, it would be difficult."
Amazonesses had been listening in, they left now. All they heard was Kali's first response. We aren't going to wait any longer. I want that boy.
"I see, it really must be hard. Well, as much as I'd like to take him with me now, I shall hold back for now."
Kali flashed a glance at Leon. "I appreciate that, Baldr."
Shurry ran over to the familia captain who had a fresh change of clothes prepared for him. "Seriously boy, don't leave. You're far too important for us to leave…"
"Huh? But, mama Kali said I was staying? Besides, I like hunting. It's fun, especially the feast afterwards." His mouth started watering.
"Well then, now that I've got what I wanted from you Baldr. Let's go watch some fights. I did change the rules for the duration of your stay. So you could even let Leon go wild a bit if you like."
Leon chuckled. "Lady Kali, my apologies, but I'm afraid it's hard to hold back. Your captain might be fun to play with for a little while. But aside from her, the rest of them don't seem all that interesting. Perhaps once they grow stronger."
"Well, I'll leave it at that. If I can't get you to help train them, then simply watching them as they fight for your amusement will have to be enough motivation. Let's go…"
From there, the day was rather simple. The matches were intense, but nonfatal. Shurry could tell it wasn't as thrilling to Kali, though it did entertain her slightly. The matches finished, and a banquet was held. Food and drink were in excess. And everyone went to bed like they normally did.
The next day was more of the same as the day prior. However, Kali wanted to talk with Baldr, alone. As a result, Shurry was told to return to Oluta's office. Though as he was on his way, a girl a handful of years older than him got in his way.
"Huh? Oh, it's you, I'm so glad! You'll have to tell me how it feels."
"What? What do you mean?"
A pair of older amazonesses appeared, one held Shurry down, while the other poured a drug down his throat.
"Heh, it took a bit to gather this thing safely, but it'll be worth it." One said, looking up and down. "Oh yeah, definitely worth it." A disgusting look on the amazoness' face combined with a freaky lick of the lips…
"..." Why can't I speak?! Luna, are you there? Luna! Help me?
"...I can hear you, I can't do anything. Something is preventing me…"
"... Help me…"
He was brought to a hidden room, where numerous amazonesses stood, as if ready to devour the boy their like minded women just brought.
"Help! HELP ME! SOMEONE PLEASE!"
"HELP SHURRY! PLEASE!"
Luna had been suppressed by some sort of drug, her strength was drastically reduced, and could no longer talk to others, let alone leave his body to find help. Even so, she tried her best… While the horrible sight before her played out.
Shurry's mind was breaking with every passing second. And the drug lasted hours before it finally weakened enough for Luna to say something… A weak and pitiful tone, but it was loud enough for someone to hear…
It wasn't but a few seconds later that the door to the room burst open… A lone figure, soon joined by three others. And the expression on the man's face… He was pissed…
