Time passed, and his month in the dungeon was up. When he returned, he looked harder than ever. He'd finally made the choice. And in the central plaza, he stood.
"ORARIO! IT'S TIME! THE DRAGON DIES!"
The common people dropped their everyday mundane tasks. Emergency motions were made. It would take a week before everything was truly ready on their end.
Familias performed emergency status updates for each and every member. No one was left behind.
Those at level 3 and below were confined to the city, everyone of them were assigned jobs to bring resources to and from with the utmost efficiency.
Those at level 4 were tasked with ensuring not a single monster left the dungeon. They were each given a wolf as a partner to help aid them in this task.
Those at level 5 were also granted a wolf, only these ones were brimming with the power of a level 7. Their jobs were to haul emergency supplies across the battlefield.
Those at Level 6 established a defensive base camp every quarter the way to and from the Dragon's Valley.
Tsugunai members were exempted from these rules for the most part. In that they were to keep only enough people to man their ship. The ship had been quickly finished up, with the aid of thousands of spare factory workers helping out.
School District's powerful ship had received some reservicing upgrades as well, and it was time to reawaken the mighty ship. A crew was chosen for its many operations. Each member was eagerly inspecting their new equipment. Some of the weapons fanatics were gushing over the new magic missile barrage they got to fire.
Hephaestus, and Goibniu familias began the finishing touches on all of the equipment to be wielded by the level 7 and above.
Rivera, the city in the dungeon, became a major base of operations, with a group of adventurers and a few gods who stayed down there just in case everything truly went completely south. There would be a way to make a comeback, even if it would take forever, the potential is what was important. The gods down there also doubled as a way for the people living there to see what was going on, up on the surface. There were two level 7s assigned to the city for its protection, never now when a juggernaut, or several floor bosses would spawn and swarm.
The entrances to the man-made labyrinth had long since been remade and refurbished into a shelter for the people in Orario. Hence the gathering of all people at each of the entrances… which included 20 brand newly constructed ones.
A message was sent to all of the other nations announcing the raid, urging them all to make immediate preparations.
Telskyura had been in the middle of preparing a long journey to try and claim Shurry's seed once more. So they're resources had long since been built up, and on top of that, they had two at level 6. Kali sent a simple reply… "We're ready."
Rakia had been in the middle of preparing for their stupid war against Orario, which meant they'd amassed plenty of resources they could now use for the defense of the kingdom.
Other nations around the world responded with similar, albeit varying results. Some of them were confused but did whatever they could think of. A few just ignored it completely. Then one asked why they even needed to prepare, the answer they received changed everything. Nation barriers started flaring to life. Humming with intense unease.
The gods held a world wide Denatus, to bring all of the relevant information to everyone.
Mirrors of Dragon Valley went up everywhere, in all nations.
For the first time in a long time, the sounds of dragons filled the ears of the common people. The sense of power, paired with an equaling terrifying sense of fear was nearly overwhelming. Yet the scene seemed calm.
…
Ares, in the kingdom of Rakia, shivered slightly at the sound he heard.
"What's wrong now Ares?"
"They're are far more now than there used to be. Our barrier isn't going to be enough. Make sure everyone is ready to handle running interference."
"I see… Can they win? Can he win?"
"I haven't seen him yet, I have no idea."
…
Telskyura buzzed with their typical fervor, however, they too had some worrying questions.
"Kali, you think he can handle it?"
"What are you talking about, Bache!? Of course he can do it!" Argana shouted. "My boy toy is strong, that's why he's mine."
"Oh stop it, you only claimed him with words. You've never had your baby maker penetrated by his dick." Bache countered the verbal battle. "That'll be an honor I take after he's killed the dragon. Why would he refuse a dark-skinned beauty like me?"
"Stop it, will you? Both of you will have a similarly difficult time. Just wait, and watch while he wrestles with the monster that's killed every hero in history." Kali said, then a glint took over her eyes. "Also, don't you forget, he's my wolf. Not yours."
"I didn't say he's my wolf, he's my boy toy." Argana licked her lips with mischief.
…
Alfia, Ardee, Neze, and Rose, were standing atop the very highest point in all of Gekai. The four sister-wives had a unique bond only they shared. One that allowed them to amplify each other's abilities with minimal effort. A link that only the queens could possibly have.
Hathor had finished with everyone else's status updates, bringing all of the power each of her numerous children had stored away, the last was once again Shurry. His last update hadn't been talked about, and for good reason, but now…
"You've done it, my darling. You've leveled up to 13. How do you feel now?" Hathor said, petting Shurry's hair with a slightly different kind of love in her tone, and touch.
"Mother? Why does your love feel different now?"
"Because, you're a man, and I can only hold back the aches of my womanly heart so much. I love you as a son, but I also love you as a man." She smirked. "It wouldn't be the first time I'd raised my own man. But worry not, I won't push for anything, at least, not yet." She smiled, and wrote down his status, handing it to him.
"I see…" He uttered, reading over his status sheet.

"Development abilities keep on coming even after that Godling one. I thought it would have capstone or something like that. Oh well, just means there's always room for growth." He said, placing the paper into his file.
"Of course they will." Hathor giggled, staring at the man her son had become. "Come back alive."
"I should be telling you to stay alive. This won't be over quickly. I can feel it. Yet, I've done everything I can to prepare. I just hope I haven't overestimated myself."
"Now's the time to prove it."
"You're right, as always…" He paused, taking a good, long look at Hathor. "I love you." And then he left.
"Huh? Eh? Wait…" Hathor then rolled around in a mess of emotions from that one simple phrase.
Shurry along with the rest of the forward striking force arrived on the periphery of Dragon's Valley, in full view of all the mirrors world wide. Everyone nodded, he smirked. There was no need for fancy words, the battle had practically begun already, they were just waiting for his lead. Shurry howled out taking his massive form and… He charged through the one way barrier.
